We were thinking of having a hidden/unlockable route in Endgame. This route would only unlock as an option if the player had played through at least three other specific routes. (So, for instance, you'd have to play Magnus, Jack, and Caissa - and potentially any other routes that Lance's route would spoil).

I wanted to do another quick post regarding what we're planning for the MC customization in Endgame (which is being re-titled to "Where Sun Meets Shadow" though I may keep calling it Endgame for a while. LoL)
So above you can see the skin tones I'm currently playing around with.
I am thinking that, unfortunately, the darker skin tone is a little too dark and doesn't look quite as good recolored so I may bump it slightly lighter - just by a few hex codes. ...

Hey everyone! Spent some time working on GUI mock-ups for Endgame. I actually did a full mock up for the UI - but while I do think parts of it were eye catching, somehow it just wasn't working for me. I'm not sure why. There are parts I like and parts I dislike even though a lot of the elements ended up similar in function and overall design.

So after far too many nights of arting until 2 in the morning, I have a nearly finished sprite for Jack. Currently, due to the limited amount of time I'm spending on Endgame, I'm not actually completely finishing any sprites. I'm doing their base shading, default expression, hair...and clothing designs. Hey everyone! While production on Endgame is mostly a weekend/occasionally evening thing right now, I have been experimenting in my free time with the possibility of customization for the MC.

Endgame has always been simply called Endgame but we are currently looking at how to rename this project to something a little more unique.
One of the issues we had with Changeling is that it wasn't very google-able. You can easily find the game if you google "Changeling Visual Novel" or "Changeling Otome" - but Changeling by itself simply pulls up folklore.
We hadn't been dating that long, and I was still working out how to make kissing him work. The fangs didn't usually get in the way but they were quite a bit longer than normal - and they were sharper than normal teeth.
Every now and then, if the kiss was a little too intense, I'd come close to cutting myself on them. Which was kind of weird to say - that I nearly cut myself on my boyfriend's teeth. But such was life with Vampires.

With Sprocket visiting, holidays happening...and my house apparently falling apart (we've had some issues with various things like the pool equipment or AC...or hot water heater breaking recently), I haven't had quite as much time to work on the extra CGs for the game.
Though I'm two and a half in, I've been focusing on something that doesn't take quite as much brain power and is a little easier to work on with a lot of distractions...

We've pretty well settled on Endgame as our next project (at least for now). I have been contemplating various things about this project - how to set up the game, what game engine to use...and what art style to use.

This is a slightly more serious heart to heart between Nora and Marc, which occurs shortly after the video in the other post. In this one, Marc bares a little piece of his soul as he explains to Nora why he behaves toward people the way he does.
It's still early in his route but it might be the first time that cold veneer cracks just enough to see there might be a decent guy hiding in there somewhere.
