More possible Endgame Features
Added 2019-02-08 22:40:34 +0000 UTCHey everyone, just another quick poll about potential features for Endgame. Again, these are all maybes - not stuff we would definitely be adding just because it got a few votes. We're just trying to feel out what people like.
Customizable MC - I know that this is gaining traction as something people like to see in otome games. It can be a little difficult to work in, but with the simpler style we're looking at for Endgame, allowing for color changing might be possible. Even for CGs it might be possible to quickly recolor the MC so that we could have customization and a set MC appearance.
It would be a bit more work but it is possible to do it.
Partial Voice Acting - this one is always a possibility if we can get enough funding but my experience is that some people really hate it.
Would you like to see this? Would you specifically prefer we not? If we did consider it, would you prefer short sounds and exclamations scattered through the game, or would you prefer us to have short scenes entirely voiced (such as having romantic scenes voiced even if the rest of the game is not.)

It really depends on the game, I am fond of voice acting but I'd be more inclined towards it being in CGs and important moments than random noises. Though that kind of partial voice acting can be done well, like in fire emblem. I'm not particularly into being able to customize the MC.

XD I think full scenes could be interesting, but if it came to it, I think I'd rather the cost go elsewhere? I'd hate to see people grouse on one of your games for PVA though I think you'd manage to do it well if you did.
