Chapter 4 Status Update

Well, another week down and I worked near constantly this week. It's all kind of blending together at this point as to what I did when, but most of this week I spent writing scenes and setting up new images. There's so much in this chapter that it's making my head hurt sometimes, especially with all the things I want to improve soon with the code and the gameplay itself. Character Focus: Brandi

Brandi is a new character that I'm introducing in Chapter 4. You've seen her before if you've gone into Jackson Burger (Though I've changed her character model since then). She set the record for eating the most burgers on All-You-Can-Eat Saturdays with a whopping 13 cheeseburgers.

RJ Update

Last week was rough y'all. Not a horrible week, just rough. 

Started off the week cleaning a house full of bedbugs so that I could make a little money. That was not fun. Worked on that for a few hours a day Monday through Wednesday. 

Tuesday, our air conditioning at home went out. I thought it would be a simple fix - I flushed out the outside vents, changed the filter, shut it down and restarted it. Still no AC. Had to call somebody in and he told me that the evaporator ...

Chapter 4 Status Update

Hello all. This has been a pretty rough week for me personally, so I didn't get as much work done as I would have liked. However, I did still get some done. Here is where we are at the moment for Chapter 4.

Juliana Changes

Hello all. I finished working on Juliana and got her looking much closer to what I want. The first render was done with the wrong shaders, I hated her hair, and I didn't really want to use just a generic t-shirt (same one as Suzy), but that's all I had at the time.

RJ Update

Hey guys. Short post today cause I'm typing on my phone while cleaning a house for some extra money.

This last week has interesting. A lot of stressful personal stuff, but also a lot of fun stuff too. I got a 3d printer that ive been playing with for making d&d minis. Been painting. also got back into diablo 3.

My patrons tripled over the weeekend, which is amazing and feels great. Working hard on chapter 4 and its coming along good..

How did you hear about me?

Holy cow guys my patrons went from 5 to 12 overnight. After not getting any new patrons for over a month, this was a huge jump! I'd love to know how you all heard about the game, so that I know what kind of promotion is working and what isn't? 

So far, my thoughts have just been "Build it and they will come", but I would like to get my game out there to more people and I do plan on promoting it more in the upcoming months, now that it is more playable.

Chapter 4 Roadmap

Character Focus: Devon, Moose, Mal

Devon, Moose, and Mal are Izzy's boys - her gang. She is always seen hanging out with them at the park at night, listening to music, smoking weed. 

Devon, on the left is the quiet one. Of the three, he is the one that she considers her man. He doesn't talk much and mostly just makes angry faces at people. Because of this, he's kind of a mystery.

Chapter 3 Status Update

Hello all! Let's talk about Chapter 3. 

It's pretty much done. I actually finished rendering the last animation overnight and I'm putting that animation together right now so that I can test it and then post the chapter for $5 Patrons a little later today. I've been play-testing the chapter for the last several days and I think I've caught most of the bugs. If there's any left, I'm hoping you guys will let me know and I can iron them out as well.

Finished Animations for Chapter 3

Hi all! I'm just excited because i finished all the posing for animations for Chapter 3. There's a lot of animations in this Chapter (around twice as much as the previous 2 chapters combined). This is one of the hardest things for me to do for the game right now, because I'm learning everything from scratch, but I'm happy with how they turned out and looking forward to seeing them all rendered up and in-game.

Character Focus: Jackson

Jackson is the old man who runs Jackson Burger and has been running it since it opened in the 70's. He might be old, but he's feisty still has a way with the ladies. He used to be known as a womanizer around town and much has been made about him hiring only young, sexy woman to work as waitresses in his diner (except for Connie, who has been working there nearly as long as he has). However all his workers, current and former, love him and see him as a sort of father figure.
