Chapter 4 Status Update
Added 2020-08-21 13:50:24 +0000 UTCHello all. This has been a pretty rough week for me personally, so I didn't get as much work done as I would have liked. However, I did still get some done. Here is where we are at the moment for Chapter 4.
WRITE SCENES (18/24 - 75%)
Got most of the writing done. There's one big scene with a lot of choices that's been taking me a while and holding me back a bit, but I'll power through it soon.
IMAGES (47/163 - 29%)
Moving forward on the images. You'll see that I've added quite a few since the last update. Whenever I plan on the chapter, I estimate about how many images I'll need per scene, but this tends to go up whenever I actually write the scene and realize that I want another image or two.
ANIMATIONS (3/8 - 38%)
I actually have nearly all the animations posed and ready, just have to render them.
LOCATIONS (0/1 - 0%)
I haven't done this yet, but I don't expect it to take very long. Just have to write a little code and add the bar to the map.
FUNCTIONS (6/12 - 50%)
There are a few major functions here I haven't finished that are probably going to take some time - adding dates, removing the minigames, adding an option to spend time with Dana or Mrs. Mills before work starts, or to study, and redoing the map notifications icons. I'd really like to add a help function as well to let you know what you need to do to progress with a character. There's a lot that I want to cram into this chapter after reading a bunch of new feedback over the last week.
TOTAL (38%)
I'm moving forward, but I'm still worried about it being ready for my $5 patrons in two weeks. I'll see where we are next week and whether or not I'll need more time.
