Schedule for the Week of 02/17/2025

We’ve got some exciting stuff going on this week, the least of which is a bit of a scheduling change for some streams. We’ve shuffled some recordings and production work behind the scenes, so our new streaming days will mostly be Mon, Tues, and Friday. We’re moving our Watchcast recording to Thursday, but it will also serve as our “misc” day for things like Q&A, Planorama recordings, Never Been a Better Podcast editing, etc. Just a bit of behind the scenes if you’re seeing som...

Schedule for the Week of 02/10/2025

The Super Bowl is done and we chat about it on this week’s Ramblecast. I’m mostly there for the snacks and the ‘event’ more than the game itself but now my kids usually want to watch so I pay a bit more attention. Luckily, football is one of those sports that I know about and can follow and explain to other people, so that also makes it more fun. Now, I can’t explain and don’t follow all the things surrounding the actual game, but that’s why I get to ask Alex about them. You kno...

Well, uh, interesting times out there, huh? It seems like if you’re in the US and you were pondering any gaming hardware purchases, the time to do it may be sooner than later, with all the uncertainty flying around about tariffs that could land on electronics and semiconductors of various sorts. Personally I’m probably going to batten down the hatches and make do with what I’ve got for the foreseeable future, till we get more clarity on how things are going to settle out.
