I’ve been able to do some catching up on games I left hanging in 2024, which is excellent, but I also am excited to continue with some 2025 bangers like The Roottrees are Dead. I’ll be streaming more of that with Abby on Monday, so come and help us uncover the Roottree mystery! On Thursday, Brad and I will be kicking off the next game in the cooperative puzzle/escape room series We Were Here, so don’t miss that. On Friday it will be a Patron’s Choice stream, so keep an eye out for a poll going up in the near future.
In Podcast Land, we’ve got the Watchcast this week with one of my favorite movies, Gattaca. Will it hold up to a modern viewing? Will it unseat my top picks? Join us to find out. We’ll also have the Ramblecast, Podcast, and a Q&A happening on Tuesday! In case you missed it last week, there’s a brand new Never Been a Better Podcast with Bakalar and Austin Walker currently up as well! Plenty to keep you going until February 1st!

We put Andrew Niccol's dystopian sci-fi murder mystery Gattaca through its paces, and come out the other side feeling like maybe this whole genetic perfection thing ain't all it's cracked up to be.
