New home, new schedule

Quick update to let you guys know that I just moved to a new apartment/flat (had to, cause my old landlady was selling the apartment I rented there). So I'm finally able to put some very turbulent and stressful months behind me, but also prepare for some intense and stressful months ahead of me.

Hi! So, uhm... lol I kinda wanna ask for help with something SPiKE related. It is a really weird "problem" to have, I feel, cause... Ok, let's just cut to the case first:

There's a seasonal sale's pitch at the publishing company that's due soon, in which I have been requested to feature the cover for SPiKE Volume One.

I was in a meeting with my publisher today regarding my "SPiKE" graphic novel series, asked about how much I was allowed reveal to you guys at this point, so here it is:

I have an agreement with the publishing company Egmont to publish the graphic novel series "SPiKE" (at least volume one, as the following volumes depends on the sales numbers, but my publisher and marketer seems pretty confident I don't have to worry about not meeting the quota, so that sounds promising :D ).

Revisited SPiKE chapter

Got quite a few of these lying around, and figured that I could share this one with you guys.

Admittedly, it is sort of unedited in the way that I just wrote it down, read over it a few times and did a little spell check thingamabob, switching out a few words and whatnot, but not any hardcore editing as far as sentence structure and flow goes, so, you know, consider this more of a sketch in text form.
But I hope it is enjoyable or exciting to read anyways :)

To celebrate my jam-packed schedule and lack of actual sparetime lately, I came up with the brilliant idea of opening up for taking three commissions over the next three months.
Because I am cursed with mercurial positivity, lol yay, also I realised I am really really really far behind regarding actual art development so I need something new to practice and grow on.

Ray's Miscellaneous Misadventures in Skyrim

Some sloppy sketches from today's test stream. I mentioned how I would play as my characters in Skyrim and how playing them in-character would sometimes lead to  various mishaps. Hence how these little comics of Ray's encounters in Skyrim came to be.

Preparing to stream

I've moved house, got the wifi up and running again after a few days' hold-up, rigging up my workstation and preparing to start streaming again this week. Might do a test-stream this weekend, but if so I'll let you know.
I'm pretty busy this upcoming week, but as far as I know I've got all of Wednesday off, so I'll probably schedule a stream then. If I can muster up the courage then I might do a "lesson-session" where I draw and explain and teach and stuff, via mic and screen capture. If not,...

Updates and more activity

Okay so right down to business: One huge factor in why I've barely been on Patreon and DeviantART this year and have mainly been using Instagram to share art and stuff on is that due to my breakup last Christmas I've been living in my mum's attic for... *counts on fingers*  ...well, many months.. and the wifi reception up here is bad. ...Or okay no, it's not that bad. It's dreadful. I purchased a wifi amplifier to get a better signal up here and thanks to that I can write this and use the G...

Finishing a comic you started on two days before your deadline can be ... well let's just say it's a bad idea. That has become the way I work by default lol plz send help.

But sometimes it's nice to draw some hella creepy faces to humor yourself and boost morale.

Pardon the inactivity

I've been so focused on drawing pages for the graphic novel of SPiKE (and also working under a deadline) that I've neglected pretty much all of my social media pages, with the exception of instagram :p

I might have to have full focus on these pages for a little while longer, so I'll come back with a new update soon when I have more time on my hands to do so.

SPiKE story update:

Remember I leaked earlier that I am working with a publisher on trying to get SPiKE published as a graphic novel book series?
I wasn't really supposed to reveal that to be honest, but I also really don't want to keep you guys in the dark about it. I'm keeping this "patrons only" though so that it's not all "out there" just yet ;)

Either way, here's a little update:

Okay so, it may seem like the goal was reached due to some fake pledges?
I've been warned of things like these before so it sort of came to mind now because I've been getting some very high amount pledges from various blank accounts, the most recent ones being named after my characters and it said the accounts joined today. So, I hope I'm not being paranoid here but I gotta admit this does kind of ring a little alarm bell in my head...
