Commissions!
Added 2019-06-12 05:48:59 +0000 UTCSketch, lineart and grayscale commissions open for patrons only! (so far, just to get used to taking commissions again ^^; )
So, the thing is that, as you know I am working on completing the first volume of SPiKE which is scheduled to be published this year (I don't recall if I'm allowed to say the exact month yet or if I already did?), but thing about publishing comics and books is that you don't really get any money from it until after the sales. So whatever SPiKE makes, I won't cash in on until sometime next year ^^;
Hence why I realise I'm kind of in a pinch, financially, so I am taking up commissions again.
BUT - commissions that I know are quick enough for me to complete so that they won't interfere with my SPiKE deadlines but can be completed in between (I draw a lot in between anyway to get better at art as fast as I can XD )
I am making these Patreon exclusive for now, because I want a gentle start so to speak ^^; If I can finish the commissions as fast as I predict, I will open up a few slots on DeviantART too and then take it from there.
Larger commissions are put on hold until after SPiKE vol. 1 is completed.
SO,
Practical information:
Sketch Commission:
- rough drawing, uncolored.
- digital file (resolution approx. 3500x5070 px)
- portrait or fullbody
- simple details (average stuff, like clothing, piercings and low detail accessories ok. High details available at additional cost)
- no background
Prices:
Standard sketch commission includes one sketch of one character. Low/average detail. Portraits: 30 USD. Fullbody: 40 USD
Additional characters: +20 USD per character (no more than two additional characters please)
High level of details: +10 USD (depending on amount on detail. If I can draw it already, it falls under the category of low/average detail, which covers quite a few things. If it is a specific item, weapon, other accessory I will need a reference sheet for or learn how to draw, it is considered high level detail cause it will take longer for me to complete the sketch due to this)
NOTE:
All prices are based on a personal estimate on how much time I'll spend on completing the commission. If it takes longer, the agreed price will not change.
(More practical information further down the page)
Lineart Commission:

Additional characters: +40 USD per character (no more than two additional characters please) High level of details: +20 USD
---additional, practical information---
Will draw:
- Anthro / Furry /
- in my own, cartoony / semirealistic style
- Artistic nude, erotic art is ok
- Morbid or dark art is ok
- my own characters (though I will be very picky with this tbh, I won't draw them in situations I feel in any way uncomfortable with drawing them in. But we'll talk about it, figure something out :) )
- your characters / personal characters you have rights or permission to use
Won't draw:
- humans
- backgrounds og vehicles
- unethical stuff
- stuff that makes me uncomfortable ^^;
- official/licenced/copyrighted characters
How this works:
- Read through the info above carefully, decide on what you want <3
- email me at falseyarts(a)gmail.com and tell me what type of commission you want, whether there are any additional things (details, characters) you want to include, and a description of what you want me to draw. If you want me to draw any of your characters or other people's character (with their permission or if it is a gift), make sure to provide references of said character, or a description of how they look. Feel free to describe the character's personality too, as it helps me draw them better <3
You may also provide inspirational images or music or things that help you explain what you visualise, if you feel like it. (Preferrably paste the photo references in the email and write the names of any songs you provide, cause I'd rather not risk getting any viruses by opening links XD and songs I can just look up on spotify or youtube.
- I will give you a price estimate (if there are additional or high details in the commission, otherwise it's the standard price that counts). If you agree to this amount, you will get to choose whether to pay up front or after the commission is completed.
- If it is a sketch commission, I will send you a preview of the sketch when it's done. If you paid up front / in advance, I will instead send you the full resolution file. If you chose to pay after the commission is completed, I will send you a low resolution preview before the payment, and then the full resolution file after the payment.
Same goes if it's a lineart or grayscale commission, only that you get one preview of the sketch with one option of making any changes, before I complete the commission.
- I can send you the PSD file if you want, otherwise you'll get a JPEG or PNG or BMP or whichever file format you prefer.
- If the commission is of your character, you have full legal rights to use the commission for whatever purpose you want. But if the commission is of my character(s), I keep the full legal rights to the characters and will not allow any commercial use of the commission or allow you to make any money off the commission or claim my characters as your own. You do however have the rights to repost the commission wherever you want (which is why I won't draw them in any way that makes me uncomfortable) under the aforementioned terms.
- Any questions unanswered here, feel free to ask <3
EXAMPLES:
Sketch commission;
Portrait

Sketch commission;
Portrait + one additional character + soft shading (counts as additional half the price of "high detail")

Sketch commission;
Fullbody(halfbody) + one additional character + shading (counts as additional the full price of "high detail")

Lineart commission;
Portrait

Lineart commission;
Fullbody(halfbody)

Grayscale commission;
Portrait

Grayscale commission;
Portrait + additional character

(^ this one would probably count as "Standard grayscale portrait" without the cost of the additional character due to the simplicity of the shading)

( ^ in this particular example; Sam would count as high detail instead of additional character due to his simplicity in contrast to Spike, so I will adjust prices accordingly)
Grayscale Commission;
Fullbody(Halfbody) + additional character

Grayscale Commission;
Fullbody(halfbody) + additional character (counting those two heads as one) + high detail

COMBO-commissions:
Where the pricing would probably be equal to;

^ Sketch commission + additional character

^ Sketch commission, fullbody

^ Standard grayscale commission

^ Fullbody sketch commission OR lineart portrait

^ Fullbody sketch + additional character + high detail
I hope this helps <3 and feel free to ask any question, like if there's anything I forgot to mention, things you wonder if I will draw, price estimates etc... <3
And as always: thank you so, so much for all your love and support <3 Your pledges help me out enormously <3 *hug*
