A little gift from my stop in Canada is on its way to letter club members💌 

So, funny story, I prepared them all while I was in Canada and went to the post office to mail them... but they wanted $15-$20 EACH to send them. A light envelope!! That isn’t even big!! So I decided to take them back to Korea with me and I was able to send them from here for the equivalent of 80 cents each haha. The difference blows my mind.

Day 3!! ☀️

Ok so I have to say, I’m loving this no sugar diet. I actually don’t crave it at all??? What is this magic. And my stomach already looks slimmer and less bloated which I constantly struggle with. I did cave and have some caffeine this morning though😅 Honestly I miss that more than the sugar and snacks haha. Might not be able to kick my tea addiction just yet but I’m pretty proud of myself for sticking to the no sugar thing and actually enjoying it! :)

Healthy Eating Day 2 let’s go! ☀️

For everyone that’s joining me for a week of healthy eating, how did your day 1 go?! I’m actually pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. I did crave some sweets or just snacks in general, not gonna lie, but I pushed through it and managed to resist ;D

Breakfast: banana hemp protein smoothie, replaced my usual soy milk with mostly water and it tasted basically the same?!
Lunch: roasted veggie salad
Dinner: spicy tofu and veggie soup with rice
Snacks: grapes, banana, fruit ...

Hey guys~ just got back to Korea😄🙌🏻 Time to get back into my fitness routine. Starting today I’ll be doing one week of clean eating! No sugar (except fruits), no processed food, only water and herbal tea for drinks! What do you guys think of music in vlogs? Like montages of clips with only music playing. It seems to be the popular way to edit vlogs these days so I do it too... But personally I like to watch ones without music and just whatever sounds were originally in the video. Just curious what your thoughts are! 💭

A new favourite👌🏻♥️

Wanted to introduce you guys to my new favourite beauty product💯👌🏻 It was actually my husband that introduced me to these. It’s a Korean-style exfoliating mitt for the shower!

If you go to a Korean spa you can pay a lady to rigorously scrub your naked body down with one of these and it will remove all the dead skin and leave your skin super smooth! Butttt that doesn’t exactly sound like my idea of a good time so I bought my own and I use it at home, haha.

Today is Jeongwol Daeboreum!

It’s an old Korean tradition to pray for good luck and health while eating namul (seasoned vegetable dishes) and other foods on the day of the first full moon of lunar new year - Known as Jeongwol Daeboreum🌕 This year the first full moon is today March 2nd so my Gramma-in-law has prepared a special lunch for us🍱

It’s believed that if you eat 9 types of namul it will protect you from the summer heat (Gramma apologized for only having 5 types for us  - guess we're doomed ha...

We are officially Sharla (and family) in Koreaaaa😱🇰🇷✨ We just got off the plane about two hours ago. Everything went smoothly with the cats! I’ll prob make a video about it because I had a lot of questions about moving countries with pets. Well everything went smoothly until Maro decided to pee on me in the taxi. It’s running down my leg as we speak. Hope we reach home soon😂😅 In better news, check out the cool view we had of Mt. Fuji from the plane!😍🏔

Just sent out this month’s letters to letter club members💌 A few of you were asking how long they will take to arrive and it really depends on the postal system in your country but I would say between 7~12 days🤔 Japan post is super quick and efficient but if you live somewhere like Canada where the post totally sucks it can sometimes take up to about 2 weeks to reach you😖

So I’ve been in Tokyo for the last 3 days filming a mini-documentary for the Canadian Government about Japan and Canada’s relationship. I wasn’t involved in the filming/scripting part of the project at all, I’m just the “actor” reading out the lines and also voicing over the whole project. It’s kind of something new for me, I don’t really like reading lines... I guess because it feels fake and forced since I’m used to just saying whatever I’m thinking in my vlogs😅 But I ra...

Yaaaay it was approved!! Still don’t get how the whole process works, he literally just glanced at our application and told me to come pick up my visa in two days. Guess we looked like a legit couple? Hahaha. Anyways that’s one thing to cross off the to-do list! Now I need to figure out how to get my mattress over to Korea🤔 Can’t live without that thing now! So we handed in the visa application today and the guy looks through it and hands us back all our sheets with photos and explanations except for one page. “I only need one.” Oh......... 😑 My husband didn’t look impressed because he stayed up so late yesterday preparing those haha. He then looked through our application really quickly and handed me a slip that says to come pick up my visa in two days??? I’m slightly confused... Does that mean I got it? Hey guys just wanted to say hi😊👋🏻 Been spending more time away from the comp than usual lately because we’ve been preparing my Korean visa papers (novel). I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW MANY PAPERS ARE NEEDED. We’ve spent the last week going to city halls and banks getting necessary forms, printing photos and writing explanations by them to try to prove that we actually like each other and it’s not a fake marriage for the purpose of a visa lol. It’s lucky bag season again! I’m not sure if I’m mentally prepared yet haha. We’ll be heading to the mall 2 hours before it opens - 7am😱😩😭 - so that I can line up for a Pokémon bag.
