Why I'm Back in LA Again 😅

Hello from LA! (Again, lol. God help me.) I'm here just for the weekend for one of my best friends' wedding! Then swinging by Canada for a few days on the way back home to Japan so I can see my family.

Made the trip as short as possible really because I really didn't want to be travelling again so soon😅 But I get to see two of my best friends in LA (Greg & Kelsey) so that's super cool! And while Chris and I were in Canada in December I got really sick, so it'll be nice...

Bye Bye 2022! A Look Back at the Year 💫

It's New Years Eve here in England, so I wanted to take a look back at the past year. It was certainly a mix of highs and lows. Unfortunately I felt pretty crappy for most of it because of my stupid thyroid, and wasn't able to accomplish very much of what I had planned to do this year, but that doesn't mean that it was a complete write off! Last Days of my Hiroshima Trip! Nara → Tomonoura → Sera Farm

The last few days of my Hiroshima adventure were definitely the most exciting! Mark and I went on a 3.5hr road trip from his home in Fukuyama to Nara to see the deer during sakura season🌸 I had seen so many pretty photos from Nara Park during Spring so I really wanted to see it for myself! 

Unfortunately the main day of our Nara Trip was raining😭 So we couldn't really enjoy the deer park. It was super muddy and we were just soaked and dirty and feeling gross so we didn't stay...

Hiroshima Trip Day 3 - Onomichi - Senkoji Sakura Festival 🌸⛩

Some more photos from my Hiroshima trip🌸 Day 3 was probably my favourite day of the trip!! The drive this day was wild though. Our destination was Senkoji Temple for the annual cherry blossom festival, and it is located on the top of a very high hill. Sakura Adventures Days One/Two! 🌸 Hiroshima & Fukuyama Castle

I'm currently in Hiroshima Prefecture for a week visiting Mark! Here's some snapshots from our first two days of sakura hunting. 

We spent day one in Hiroshima City. We were lucky to catch the blossoms in full bloom at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park! And we ran into a patron there! So awesome! Thanks for saying hi 💕💕 

A nearby cafe was selling hot cherry blossom lemonade so I had to try it 👀🌸 It looked really pretty and tasted quite nice, very sweet.

Pokemon Adventure Continues! This time in... Fukushima 💕

Emma and I just got back from a trip to Fukushima to visit the brand new Pokemon Park! It's super adorable, I really hope that more of these pop up around Japan!! 

We stopped by two of Fukushima's Pokelids as well - 2/9 down! Was cool to see some Pokemon other than Lapras now that I've ventured out of Miyagi prefecture.

My Collection So Far 👀

Here are all the Pokelids I've collected so far! (Including one that hasn't featured in a video yet, I want to go back there when I have a full day so I can feature the area more.)  And a couple bonus manholes! 

So apparently there are 209 across Japan, but they're constantly adding more so that number could already be out of date😅 Mark and I have plans to hunt the ones down in his area in the Spring, looking forward to that! I wonder if there's any in Natsuki's area, would...
