It’s an old Korean tradition to pray for good luck and health while eating namul (seasoned vegetable dishes) and other foods on the day of the first full moon of lunar new year - Known as Jeongwol Daeboreum🌕 This year the first full moon is today March 2nd so my Gramma-in-law has prepared a special lunch for us🍱
It’s believed that if you eat 9 types of namul it will protect you from the summer heat (Gramma apologized for only having 5 types for us - guess we're doomed haha). Eating many types of namul is supposed to give you lots of necessary nutrients and energy for a healthy body💪🏻✨
