Weekly Check-in: Update 5

Hello all, 

There's not really a lot to talk about here this week. Update 5 is complete and is still being beta tested. Over the last week, my amazing beta testers found several bugs that I was able to go back and fix and make the game better. It'll be released in one week, next Friday! Update names and Sandbox dates

Hey all. I've been listening to some feedback and thinking about it and considering some changes. 

First change - I'm going to stop refering to my updates as Chapters and instead just call them Updates. This is pretty simple. Instead of saying Chapter 5 is coming out on November 13th, I'm just going to say Update 5 is coming out on November 13th. This is just because calling them chapters has confused some people into thinking that the game was actually split up into chapters, when...

RJ Update

Hey all. 

The last week has been pretty good actually from a mental health perspective. Feeling good about myself. Enjoyed Halloween a lot. Had some friends over and played board games and some Switch games yesterday. Fun stuff. 

I'm really worried about the upcoming election and what's going to happen following it, no matter who wins. I'm expecting violence either way and I'm planning on just holing up at home and hoping for the best.

I'll be honest, I've had a pretty bad weekend and today is not looking great either. There's a little relationship drama going on and I'm not in a good place right now. Weekly Update: Chapter 5

Hey all. I'm down to the final stuff in this chapter before moving on to testing now. This is where the computer is becoming a big roadblock. I have a hundred scenes loaded up into it and am just waiting for it to render. While it's rendering, I can't do anything else on it, so I actually took yesterday off from working on the game completely just to let it render and get some chores done around the house. I've been working a lot on the game the last week. It's actually pretty much my favorite thing to do right now. I get more enjoyment out of it than watching any shows or playing any games. Hello all. 

It's October, my favorite time of the year. In Texas, this is when the heat finally gives us a break and things start cooling down. I'm also a big fan of horror movies, and I love that so many people get into horror marathons and such during this time of year. Chapter 5 Roadmap

Now that Act 1 is complete, we're ready for Chapter 5. Most of the gameplay elements have been implemented at this point, so I can focus on adding new scenes, which is what this chapter is mostly doing. Advancing all the storylines and adding another major character to the game. I have too many damn characters and I know it, but I love all of them and couldn't cut any. I tried!
