It's October, my favorite time of the year. In Texas, this is when the heat finally gives us a break and things start cooling down. I'm also a big fan of horror movies, and I love that so many people get into horror marathons and such during this time of year. One of my favorite things to do is spend the night cuddled under a blanket watching a horror movie with my partner, and I plan on doing that a lot this month.
Last week was really nice for me. I've been enjoying working on the game so much that I look forward to opening it up every morning and I have been working on it for longer than normal. It's a mix between the motivation that all of your support gives me and just really looking forward to what's coming up in future chapters. So I've found myself wanting to work on the game in my free time more than wanting to do just about anything else.
I do continue to play my Switch in my free time though. I finished Breath of the Wild on Master Mode and I thought about doing all the DLC and getting 100% on the game finally, but honestly I'm just not a big fan of Master Mode. It makes all the enemies really chunky and they take forever to kill, which just makes the game drag. So I switched back to Normal mode and started over to play to 100%. Don't know if I'll ever have time to do it though, as my attention seems to switch between games pretty quickly.
Still been playing Hades some, but after winning a few runs of the game, it gets really really easy and I haven't felt challenged on it anymore at all. Still been doing a run a day or so just to chill out with my afternoon coffee.
I bought Xenoblade Chronicles also and am waiting for that to come in the mail. I've been wanting to play it forever, but have just never gotten the opportunity to. Really looking forward to it.
Oh also I ran a D&D session yesterday that I felt was one of the best sessions I've ever ran. It was really fun. I'd been planning it for some time and there was a lot of laughing, a little crying, and some genuine screams of anguish. It was a blast.
Alright, that's it. Hope you all had a great weekend as well. Love ya!
