RJ Personal Check-in

Hello everybody!

I'm kind of playing around with what I want to call these Monday personal posts. Since I'm calling new versions of the game "Updates" instead of "Chapters" now, I don't really want to call this "RJ Update" anymore.

Anyways, last week has been super-stressful. The elections took a lot out of me. I don't want to get too much into politics on here, because I'm sure that everybody is just sick of it anyway, but I am personally very invested in politics and I worry a lot about what is going to happen to my government on a local, state, and national level. So this last week, not knowing how things were going to go, I felt like I could barely think about anything else. I feel better now, but still worried about what the next couple months are going to hold. I try to tell myself that I shouldn't worry, that there's nothing I can do and worrying doesn't help anything, but it's something that I can't really shut off.

So, I didn't get a whole lot of work done the last week. I did work - I'm still working on fixing bugs found in beta testing, and I've began writing and rendering for Update 6. Mostly though, I let renders run on my computer, while I tried to relax by playing some video games.

I finished Breath of the Wild again, this time completing most of the things that I wanted to do - seeing all the story scenes. I'm really excited about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, so I wanted to see all the things that I missed my first time through. I also finally finished Rise of the Tomb Raider. I had played it a couple years ago, then stopped for whatever reason and never finished it. It had been installed on my PS4 the whole time, and I didn't want to delete it because it takes forever to re-download anything with my horrible internet. So I decided to sit down and finish it, and I REALLY enjoyed it. So much so that I immediately went out and bought Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which I'm loving now. Also bought Outer Worlds and Devil May Cry 5 on the PS4. Outer Worlds is okay so far, but feels a little sluggish and boring. DMC5 is super-fun, but I think I made a mistake putting it on a lower difficulty because I'm finding it wayyyyy to easy. I'm honestly shocked there hasn't been a DMC live-action movie, because that whole series is just crazy fun.

Okay, I think that's pretty much it for me over the last week - election stress, working, and video games. Hope you all are doing great. Love ya!
