Weekly Update: Chapter 5

Hey all. I'm down to the final stuff in this chapter before moving on to testing now. This is where the computer is becoming a big roadblock. I have a hundred scenes loaded up into it and am just waiting for it to render. While it's rendering, I can't do anything else on it, so I actually took yesterday off from working on the game completely just to let it render and get some chores done around the house. It's still shaping up nicely though, just hoping that I can get renders done pretty soon.

Here's where we're at so far.

Chapter 5 Tasks

Write scenes - 19/19 (100%) - Done-zo.

Write conversations - 26/26 (100%)

Write dates - 4/4 (100%)

Render Images - 152/253 (60%) - This is what's holding me back right now. I think this is the most images I've done in single update - largely because I decided to add video to the phone calls. I think it'll be worth it though, as it makes the phone calls easier to write (I can just use the same format I use for dates) and it lets you see the girls when they're in their comfy stuff at home, like Kendra in the preview image here. I hope you like her without the stuff in her hair.

Render Animations - 5/9 (56%) - Same as above. Just gotta wait on these. Animations have been going much smoother lately as I learn more about how to make them. This shouldn't take long once I get the renders going.

Functions - 7/7 (100%)

Total completion - 86%

Release Date

Still shooting for November 13th. I need about two weeks for testing - one week with me, then one week for my beta peeps. If I get all the renders done by next Friday, I might actually move the release date up one week. We'll see.

Final Thoughts

Still super happy with how this chapter has been progressing. This one has a couple of really hot scenes that I know you guys are going to love and I can't wait to share them with you.
