I did the thing! (tier)

I launched the tiers for being drawn into the SPiKE graphic novel series :D

I decided to limit them though, to see how it goes, and to separate them based on the role. So smaller roles have its own tier at a lower price, and larger roles has its own tier at a higher price. 

What do you guys think? :)

Tier contemplation

Been wondering about having a tier available that has the perk of being drawn into the SPiKE series as a stand-in character, like the extras in the movies, y'know? Cause I am gonna need to draw quite a few characters like that anyways, so I was thinking it might be a fun thing to draw fans and followers of the series as those types of characters instead?
I just don't know how to make it fair, lol.. cuz I wanna give everyone an equal chance, so I thought a tier might be a good idea, because...

Behind the scenes of Volume One

I'm not allowed to show the actual pages, so here are some unfinished ones, thumbnails, layouts, color tests and whatnot :)

I only ask that you don't repost or share them elsewhere. I'm doing this as a little token of appreciation to my patrons <3

..starting out drawing these pages, I realized I had no idea how to draw backgrounds, what perspective even was, and somewhere along the lines I had forgotten how colors work lol.. so the first pages ended up looking very.....

The chibis are made to be a more affordable option while still being high quality, seeing how the corona crisis is pretty rough on most of us.

SPiKE update

So, I did the thing; I told my publisher about needing to do this comic my own way and in my own pace, that the pressure of knowing people were waiting for it and anticipating it was too much for me and that with all the stress I was dealing with I felt completely burned out, and needed to  postpone the book, that I wanted to finish book 1 and half of book 2 in my own time and then someday come and show them and see if they'd be interested in publishing it then instead.

The grayscale portraits are so fun to work on that I keep finishing them in 1-2 sessions :D so I've finished two portraits already and I'm halfways on a larger fullbody grayscale one..! Yo, thank you guys so much <3

Got some sketch commissions to finish too though, so right now I can take one more commission, but I'll post more slot when they're available.

I have a meeting with my publisher soon, so I'm just gonna take as many commissions as I can manage while I still have that...

SPiKE graphic novel update

This update has been requested for a while, and I'm sorry it comes so late and that I have been sort of voiding answering it.

There's a lot of shame, guilt and stress behind why I haven't replied and why it's not out yet, and to be honest it is very heavy for me to write this cause I just feel like a perpetual disappointment.

The publishing company is still very much interested in the novel, extremely so, which is a good problem to have but for me the pressure just proved too much...

In the 24H sesh, I introduced you guys to Felicia, Terrance's sister and the first openly transgender castmember of the series. She is unfortunately not a big part of the series originally, but she has already gained a lot of fan appeciation on her first day in public so I wanna try and see if I can make some room for her in the series, even if it is just a small one.
