Grim, the afterlife tourguide xD

Some may recognize him from my instagram. He is not part of the Spike universe at all, but I hope it's ok that I post him here anyways..

Grim is a character that spawned out of a conversation with me and my buddy Victor after a joke he made, and then we started brainstorming this collaborative comic where we were in charge of one character each, a human and a grim reaper where the initial idea was that the human had a crush on the grim reaper and kept trying to find ways to see him, ways that include the death of other humans..

I had a lot of fun developing the grim reaper character though, whom I decided to simply name Grim. He's a fairly controversial reaper who prefers to do his job a bit differently than his more rigid co-workers, bending the rules and going rogue depending on his assignment.

Employed to guide the spirits to the next place, Grim takes his job very seriously and makes sure to take his time and get to know the spirits he's shepherding, listening to them, comforting them and making sure they're met with patience, tolerance and empathy...

Trying to make up for all the bad things he did back when he was alive, learn from them, and hoping to reconcile his past mistakes. Learning to be a more compassionate individual in the afterlife than he was in real life.
