Thanks for being so patient with me while I finished this cover, planning out the concept and creating covers takes a lot of time, a heck of a lot longer than your run-of-the-mill page. I was going to do issue 9’s cover immediately after this, but instead I’m going to carry on with the actual story and do the cover at the end. I have ideas for what it’s going to be, but by the time I finish volume 2, I’ll absolutely know.

I also can’t figure out if I prefer the gold title or ...

Here is the official cover art for issue 6 by Vanga-Vangog. The art I have attached currently to issue 6 was just a placeholder till I had something proper to fill its place. Now I’ve just got to do the covers for issues 8 and 9 and then that’s all of the covers for volume 2 completed, that’ll free me up to just focus on the interior pages!

I finally got it to upload, I don’t know what was going on but I’ve tried on multiple devices. Both my iPad and my Pc wouldn’t upload it even when tried on a different WiFi network or hot spotting, but my wife’s phone when using cellular will for some reason. Oh well, at least now I can show it to you. The colours and lettering are almost done on it too so I’ll upload that soon also! Issues with Patreon.

As you’ve probably realised already from the last post, I’ve run into some problems with Patreon. I cannot upload photos and I’m having issues with loading comments. I’m in communication with Patreon via email and they’re trying to resolve the issue now. As soon as this is fixed I’ll be able to show you what I’ve been up to with Humanity Lost. Sorry about the wait!

Thanks for being so patient with me while I worked on this one! I had a great time designing all of the architecture and the creatures. Watching the Scavengers reign show really energised me to draw some aliens.

This two page spread marks the end of issue 8, so once this is all coloured up and I’ve added the speech bubbles and lettering, I’ll finish issue 8 up by creating a nice handy PDF for you all to re-read through it all if you so wish. Only one more issue to go the...

I’ve just started watching that new show called Scavengers Reign and I’m loving it. It’s a really imaginative series and the animation is just gorgeous. Anyway, that show has gotten me all ginned up to draw some alien creatures, so I’m going to try and squeeze some into the upcoming panels to make them more visually interesting to look at. Little critters lurking in the bushes of the Kolaxan habitat, things like that.
