Thanks Erika! Deicide probably could just Jedi mind trick him into doing what he wants yeah haha he’s probably influencing him slightly in a way that Janudua doesn’t notice also, the Baron is just a very stubborn man. I imagine it’s like talking to a ten year old, they understand the basics of what you’re saying, but when it comes to more conceptually difficult subjects, they cannot follow. Of course, we do not understand precisely how intelligence scales, it seems that some creatures on earth are actually more intelligent than humans in some areas of the brain, for example, chimp pattern recognition and short term memory far surpasses Human pattern recognition and short term memory. What I’m saying is intelligence is not linear it seems. When you think about intelligence in this abstract way, perhaps social and emotional intelligence could only be a little bit greater in deicide whilst the rest of the aspects of his intelligence are leagues above the Barons, I’m not saying that’s definitely the case, I’m just thinking out loud haha. I think if Deicide didn’t have a heart filled with revenge, he could absolutely travel down to a primitive world and set him self up as their deity. Oooh I like the idea of both, but a serpent/wyrm Over-father would be very interesting!

2024-07-29 21:04:34 +0000 UTCAmazing work! It's very detailed! Do you think Deicide could just alter the structure of Janudua's brain to get him to help fight the Imperium? Considering that Deicide's intellect is far larger than Janudua's, he should be able to convince him? For Deicide and other Over-Fathers is communicating with less intelligent beings like a human talking to an animal? Do you think an Over-Father could travel to a primitive planet and set themselves up as a God? Also I have some ideas about what an alternative Over-Father could look like. I really like the idea of making them a mammalian serpent that looks like a brain and spine, but I also like the idea of just a brain interacting with everything via telekinesis. Which design idea do you think is better?
