Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know we've been at work here finalizing the EPs to be sent out to the pressing plant.
It's that last 2% of the project and yes, it usually takes the most time. Everything from checking bass phase issues on the masters, to looking for typos in the art work.

Today was extra fun as I got to go on a field trip to Solotech to check out their XR, AR testing lab.

I was digging through the archives and I found this ridiculous print I made many years ago. It was my first attempt at creating a 5 color linocut and was an assignment for an elective "art materials class" in the Education program.
In order to make this I was taught how I needed to "cut out the negative" of what I wanted to see. Then ink and stamp it on the paper. So if you want to see a line, I would have to carve out all the negative space between the lines. You have to do it wi...

Hey Everyone!
This is a piece of "latch hook art" that my mom made in the 1970s. Apparently just after I was born. So she would work on this while baby Eric was taking naps.
Every thread was a precut 2 - 4 inch pieces of yarn in different colors. She would hook each thread into a gridded base that looks like a tiny badminton net.
It's like analog yarn pixel art!
