Hey Everyone!

Here we are in Sacremento which is the the 2nd to last city on this West Coast tour. But I wanted to share with you what I consider the funniest incident on this tour which took place last night.

I'm usually staying up into the after hours sorting out vinyl and playing with stickers. In the clip above I demonstrate how I use the cue stickers for my turntable sets. I do this so that I don't have to use headphones to cue. Especially in a live situation, I may have to cue things rather quickly, (like change records or sounds between a bridge and chorus) so it's easier to do it by sight with the stickers and then count rotations on the label to find the different segments of sounds I w...

Phew! Just finished a run of 6 shows here at the Jazz Fest which went wonderfully! Such amazing audiences and vibes at all the shows!

Right back into it now as we prepare for the upcoming Deltron 3030 tour. I've enlisted Guillaume Briand to design the lighting cues for the tour. So today we were running through the set and making some plans as to how it will all work together!

Cardboard Cars, Test Drives, Radio Signals

Hey Everyone!

We are testing out one of the cars for the forthcoming world premiere of our FUNDERDROME Event which will take place later this summer in Germany. I built a cardboard shell for one of the cars. We took it for a spin at the park to see how it rolls. It was a sunny day at the park and there were people everywhere practicing some sort of close combat martial arts. But we found a patch of grass to set up some props and do a little test drive.

Just got back from a busy week in the Pacific Northwest. The weather was beautiful, but I honestly spent most of the time recording in a windowless basement studio called The Dynomite Shack. Canvas, Metamorphs, Porcupine Fish!

As with any blank canvas, I'm not always sure where it will end up.
