Hammerheads, Axolotls, Musical Creatures!

Greetings Everyone!

I've been inside painting these creature card canvases for the board game. Above is a bird on vocals. Ruby asked if I could paint it green so I did (even though it was originally intended to be a cardinal). On the right is a man o' war jellyfish on drums. (?)

The last couple of days I've been adding eyes to all of the creatures...

Here's that sea turtle on the kettle drums. To the left you'll find a yeti crab also on drums and a sawfish on vocals.

Here's a mantis shrimp on an 80s style electronic drum kit...

Here is a hammerhead and a manta ray on vocals...

and a tiny mouse (with distortion pedal) and axolotl on bass...

I'm still working more on the layers, feathers, scales and backgrounds but you can see they're starting to take shape. I hope they will be fun cards to flip over when you land on the "Creature Apartment Party" spaces in the board game.

I'm aiming to have these done by next week. There are 36 of them. After that, I have to paint all the Flea Market cards which will be a random assortment of audio recording devices and instruments.

Here's that jellyfish on drums again. It has a humorous stunned expression on its face as if to say "Yes, I'm drumming at the moment but I'm not sure why." LOL
