Vietnam War Series Autumn/Fall 2023 - First Look

Hello everyone!

As I mentioned in a previous update earlier in the summer, our major series in the autumn and winter of this year is going to be on the Vietnam War(s), covering the grand sweep of history in Vietnam between 1945 and 1975- or at least, as much as we can feasibly fit in.

At the moment this series is shaping up to be around 10 or 11 episodes in length, though as always this is subject to a lot of change and revision as we go along.

Winter 2023 Video Updates

Hope you're all having a good start to 2023. Here's a comprehensive update on what the channel is working on for release in the next two months or so. 

As you might recall from earlier updates, one of my biggest frustrations of late is the upload frequency on the channel. We massively increased the quality of the videos over the last 12 months, which dramatically better animation quality, but the number of videos released declined as a result.

Sinking of Shinano Ad Free Early Access

Hello & Merry Christmas to you all. 

Here's early access to the last video of the year. It will be a shorter time than normal until the video goes live- I was sick part of last week and this which has delayed it, and I want to get the video out before Xmas to round out the year. 

The video is on the sinking of the carrier Shinano by USS Archerfish in November 1944.

A Big Thank You + Falklands Series Update

Hello everyone! 

It's been a long while since I wrote a comprehensive update on the channel. In fact I've been awfully quiet on all fronts other than uploading videos for a few months now. 

The reason for this, largely, is that my fiancée and I spent the summer going through the process of buying our first home. There was lots of waiting, paperwork, packing and finally moving a couple of weeks ago- but definitely worth it in the end.

The Raid on Kronstadt - Early Access

Early access for tomorrow's video on the 1919 motor boat raid on Kronstadt harbour. Hope you enjoy it! 

Exocet Attack on Sheffield - Falklands War

Episode 4/6 in the Falklands War series. Wasn't able to get this one to Patrons before release due to tight deadlines with the sponsor for this one- my apologies for that. 

Last two Falklands vids will release in late August/early September - I have to complete research on them. 

There will be some videos in the intervening period - the long running video on Operation Spring Awakening, Germany's last WW2 offensive, is up next. 

Raid on Zeebrugge - Early Access

Early Access for this weeks video, which is on the WW1 Raid on Zeebrugge and has been put together in collaboration with Drachinifel. 

It also functions as a sequel to the Aboukir video from earlier in the year. 

Next up will be a video on the sinking of HMS Sheffield (Episode 4/5 in the falklands series), and there will be one more video at the end of this month.
