Rough layout sketch; comic idea

Back in the days, this was how I used to get my ideas down: grab a pen, start sketching one panel, and just see where it goes from there. No planning, no script, no chance of editing or fixing stuff cause you're using a pen, no time to be a perfectionist; just get that shit down.

It worked before, then for a few years I stopped doing it, but I've recently gotten back into the habit of using this method for idea brai...

SPIKE Update

So, it's December now. And the self-proclaimed 'deadline' for the complete second draft of SPIKE was in November.

I have postponed writing this update because I realised to my great despair in October that there was no chance I'd be getting it all finished by November after all.

I truly hated myself for that, and this self hatred didn't exactly help the process towards reaching the goal. On the contrary it made me entirely apathetic and stressed out sick for weeks. Even had a big mental ...

The Shaffer Bros

Ok, so the dialogue is random, the age difference between Jeremy (on the left) and Charles (on the right) is inaccurate (approx. 7 years age difference, whereas here it looks more like... idk, none? :p )
But the whole point of this sketch was more of a visual note to myself on the differences between the brothers, both in how they look and how they act.

Travel Update

Some of you are following me on snapchat already, and some of those some of you may or may have noticed that I have made zero updates today despite saying I would. The reason is because I haven't managed to get access to internet at all. Not on my phone anyhow. And I'm not tech savvy enough to figure out how to share the wifi connection on my laptop with my phone via bluetooth. Seems I can use my phone as an internet hotspot but not the other way around. And 3G / 4G and/or roaming has not worked...

SPIKE mini comic: Pirates

Here it is, as promised, the five page mini-comic I made for the comic magazine Nemi, but now in English!

I didn't manage to finish the artwork the way I'd hoped before the deadline, so that's why it may look unfinished. But at least it's something, right? ;)

I hope my handwriting reads well, and that you'll find some enjoyment in this little story :)
