5k Goal Livestream Celebration

Because my Patreon reached its goal of 5k each month (by the way - WOW, thank you!!) that means we get to have a celebratory day spent watching horror movies on a livestream! Like I said in the goal description, I won't be able to show the movies on stream, but I'll try to pick good stuff on Netflix or Shudder so more people can watch along if they have those services. Plus we'll chat about them the entire time, so it'll be a day at the movies with me (and Chelsea and Lucy)!

New Patreon Payment System - Charge Up Front

Hi everyone! Today I enabled the brand new Patreon option of charging new patrons up front. This is something I've been hoping to get for a long time now - what it means is that when a new patron signs up, they'll have to pay their pledge amount right away before being able to access any rewards. 

The reason I wanted this is simple: Far too often, I would notice patrons signing up, getting the rewards that were available, and then not paying when Patron went to collect their pledge.

DEEP BLUE SEA commentary track!

This is the JULY 2018 commentary track! Our friend and animator Kari Kilpela joined us to watch this ridiculous movie in honor of SHARK WEEK which we just missed. Chelsea and I had never seen it but Kari basically had the whole script memorized so we stayed on track the entire movie and she was able to thwart all our confusion. Early Release for Jurassic Park III

And here's Friday's Kill Count, for JP3. I hated this movie and I know a lot of people love it. That's okay. Hopefully they can still enjoy the Kill Count on it, I think there are a lot of fun jokes in it (my personal favorite is the Apocalypse Now reference I slip in).

No Explicit Jigsaw Kill Count

Hi everyone! Forgot to mention that I was able to get a version of the Jigsaw Kill Count approved by YouTube that had no censoring or anything involved. The movie itself isn't insanely gory like the rest of the Saw sequels, so I wasn't too surprised.

With that in mind, I'll go ahead and let you know that I don't foresee having to do "explicit" versions for patrons-only for the next however many Kill Counts. I can think of one in November that will probably be that way, and maybe some one-offs ...

Explicit Version of Saw 6 Kill Count

The regular version of this video is tied up in YouTube's manual review process (again, 6 iterations of it), but I can at least hit up my wonderful Patrons with the explicit version you've been waiting for. This movie is a new level of gore and honestly, Saw 3D (the next one) takes it even further, to the point where I just don't know what I'm going to do for the public version of that one.
