Holy crap I reached $5000 in pledges

It's flooring to see that so many people (1200+!!!) think my work is worth paying for. Honestly, it's an incredible thing and I thank each and every one of you.
You probably noticed that 5k was my stated goal on Patreon, with a reward reading
If I reach $5000 per month in Patreon contributions, I will do a one-day celebration where I livestream the entire day me watching horror movies. I won't be able to show the movies because of copyright stuff but you can watch along with me if you have them or if they're on Netflix, and we can talk about them the entire time.
That'll be a super fun reward to do and I can't wait to schedule it! But I'm gonna wait until after the first of the month - a LOT of patrons right now are livin that Patreon life without having been billed anything, and usually after billing goes through (which takes place during the first five days of each month) there's a 5-10% drop in patrons who don't fulfill their pledged amount.
We'll have our fun livestream goal after there's a month where the COLLECTED / real amount (as opposed to the PLEDGED amount) passes that $5k goal. It's just cause I want it to be a very celebratory day when we do it, and I think the thing worth celebrating is when the goal is met for real and not just pledges. I hope you understand!
And again, thank you so much for being patrons. As I continue to dance with all the hurdles I face involving YouTube and the studios that own the movies I cover, I'm extremely grateful that I have the Patreon family to rely on. You're all really good people <3

I especially love the editing live streams, awesome seeing a professional at work. I pledged after something I heard Philip defranco say, he said that creators shouldn’t rely solely on YouTube and you seem to be branching out well, while YouTube is great I still wanna support you directly. You found a niche market that isn't often tapped and on top of that your presentation and skill set your channel on a higher tier than some of the other high production review channels. Hopefully you are able to keep surviving through these dark YouTube eras and if the site manages to crumble, we will find a way to continue on! Maybe a website or site family that includes your other channel... banner ads can keep a business alive these days!
