Marcassin did such a fantastic job on these skins, all the authentic liveries were done by him in 4K. Thank you very much for the honour of making such professional level skins for my mod. ๐
I had to simply colour correct them and remaster them a little in 32bit. However, that saved more than 20% in file size, so not only do they look a little better but much easier on PC resources.

Remember the Red Bull skin, all aspect ratios seemed to be wrong? Well..., I have corrected and improved every bit of it. ๐
Some progress:
All 3d and textures are done.
I'm working my way meticulously through the shaders. 60% done
Adding new AC community skins and improving old ones.
Working on the data slowly. 20% done.
Then CSP and VAO.
I'm hoping it will be ready in 2 weeks, but we'll see. ๐ค

A classic Alpine F3, well, why not? Strongly Brabham influenced, this slightly obscure Renault-Gordini partnership produced a lovely engine and a bit of a cult following. Ohhh shiny!
Someone once said I should just convert the latest mods instead of polishing old turds. Well, I polished the crap (pun intended) out of this old mod of mine. It's come out rather good.
Of course all the gauges, warning lights work and even though it only has one rear light, that has light refraction effects. There will be lots of little details to notice and take in, I'll let you discover them yourself.

I'm making my way through the data file fixing issues, adding features and improving things. I'll also be adding modern slick tyres for those who want to see how they perform.

This has to be my favourite skin for it.
All the skins have been improved and optimised. Also, I have corrected, improved and adapted a number of new public skins released by Tony Barracuda. I'll check if there are any other public skins that can be added.

I've been keeping my head down, working on it, so much time and effort, and yet some things are still out of my reach... Sometimes I have to say: "I need to draw a line here".

Well, a fellow modder, pl4sma2389, pointed out that while I play with the Mph version, the default version released is in Km/h. As you guys know, you can switch between the Km/h, Mph and Jandrovi's (also in Km/h) Historically Accurate version.
But now, if you choose the correct extension folder in the mod, you can also choose to have more accurate Km/h or Mph gauges! This is possible due to pl4sma2389's clever idea to load t...

As promised, today I'm releasing updates for 3 of my mods. The biggest one being for this sexy beast!
I've made many fixes, improvements, added new beautiful touches and features. Quality is improved significantly. I have also reworked the 3d, textures and shaders. Rewrote some of the CSP code too. Can you tell the difference? No? Good! ๐ The first photo is of the main mod versions, and the second of the optimised versions! Only in VR and up close is it noticeable. It's a medium optimisation, but still 60-70% less processing power and memory required.

Sooo I was supposed to take a break. ๐ Well I've improved my UV mapping skills and done some research into AO, and it's future. Thanks for giving me the push I needed, Jens. ๐ I have decided apart from bodywork, where I want a very high quality texture AO, I will use VAO throughout.
