We are planning a special "cooking" version of our patron hangout for the end of this month! Our dear friend Melissa will be visiting us in Montreal a week early and will be our celebrity chef during the hangout! The plan is to make some sort of Halloween Creature Monosynth.

12 years ago, I was working at my desk on the Space Cadet book. I had done some preliminary storyboards, and was now doing the final illustrations on scratchboard. Phew! What a week! We just finished our 5 day shoot of the XR video project I'm doing with Silent Partners Studios and Solotech's XR stage lab.
The concept of the video is to make a beat tape style medley of some of the tracks off the forthcoming Creatures of The Late Afternoon album. It would be live action utilizing some of the fun visual effects and environments we could interact with on a giant XR stage.

It's been busy around here this week as we did our third set of camera/lighting tests at the XR stage for the Creatures XR video.
We brought all the components for the cardboard car to the soundstage.

One small step for a koala, one giant leap away from the dance floor. This was the second tour we designed that wasn't for a dance floor or club venue. Although many of the rooms we were booked in were indeed clubs, we asked the promoters to rent in cabaret tables for 2 to 4 people for the audience. The idea was to create a type of seated event that was a fun combination of storytelling, visuals and 8 turntable mayhem.
Knowing that the audience may have been expecting a club event...

Hey Everyone!
I've ben putting in painting time finishing up the art assets for the Creatures board game. Here you can see some work in progress instrument paintings including a Clavichord, Tine Piano and a monosynth. These instruments and the Dig Time cards are the last batch of pieces I need to finish before we start final layout on the board game production. It's all coming together slowly but surely!
