Sorry guys, was aiming for weekly releases this month but the nature of the story at this point isn’t allowing me to give you meaty chunks that are deep instead of wide. Meaning far shorter playthroughs of new content leaving a sense of “really, that’s it?”

Update #1 August

Just wanna show off some of the wide word count at play here.

Of course, we begin the Squire Route by introducing the squires closest in age to us.

The scene then takes time to showcase the scene reactivity to your height, which consist of 2,768 words. There are some really good scenes in here that share a lil bit more than the others, just to give a few players more or less information

This was an extremely technical update, as you'll see below.

I made the character bios/relevant information become *gosubs so that I dont duplicate text and inflate word count like a cheater lol

July Update (7k+ words added, finished transition)

It was split up (2/3rds is what you got of what i have in total) so that the update ends at a natural place, and so that I can have an easier time getting back to a proper working writing schedule with words already written for the next update.

As stated before, the emergency trip to Mexico put a dent in this update cycle's development time (it added 2 weeks dammit). But that was an emergency, something that isn't a regular occurrence.

Progress Report July I

Sup guys! Unfortunately, not ready to release.

I mean sure, the weather has been sorta tricky at the start (frequent black outs in the villages near Los Mochis, Sinaloa) but I just switched from desktop to laptop so i dont lose any progress from sudden power outages. Only lost progress the first time.

I wasnt aware of the rainy storm season and its effects on the grid here as I was only visiting in the winter months beforehand.

Have arrived at destination, working on KaE now!

Sup guys! After a sweaty, humid, crampy ride I've arrived! I've cleaned up the house, dusted everything off, and set up the desktop here with a good keyboard (i swear to God that it's important!) to get ready to work!

While the emergency thing happens in the background and the legal stuff is processed, I'll get started on KaE. Again, thank you for the understanding and patience you guys! Sincerely appreciate it!

Emergency

Hi guys, my presence is required in Mexico. It is of the urgent variety that absolutely causes headaches and having to spend money and time you didn't think you'd have to. Literally, this came out of the blue.

I will not have my desktop starting today onwards (it will be in luggage), and we'll be traveling via land. It will suck ass. It'll also have a shit ton of stops in comparison to my usual travel route (big ass travel bus with sweet seats and AC)...

The Prologue of the Great Rewrite is out!

165k words of the actual game

27k of the Relationships tab

5k of the Codex Tab.

In total, the demo has 197k words of content.

Including lines of code, meaning stat descriptions included?

213,184 words.

All full of mostly new content.

It's uh... a really long prologue!

Codex Patch released!

Hi guys!

Managed to cut the Codex from 28,656 to...

5,415 words!!!

I tried trimming it to the best of my ability to only keep the NEEDED information only, plus I put it a glossary of sorts.

Might put parts of the old codex into the main game as unlockables or something, who knows but it aint my main concern or focus lol

Perhaps its a bit too b...

Hi guys, quick question.

Has the save points helped AT ALL?

Is it sometimes?

Does it feel at random?

Does it NEVER work?

Please let me know in the comments if this has been a persistent issue in other games, i dont have the time to try out other IFs (soon i will though, and id love recommendations!)

I'd also SUPER appreciate it if you can point to IFs that DONT HAVE THIS ISSUE.
