Added in Refuse the dagger choice from the first day watch sacrifice branch, and completed it. It is 1,890 words of content.
PLEASE CONSIDER CONTENT MAY CHANGE AS I REVISE AND SPOT MISTAKES SO THIS IS NOT FINAL VERSION LOL

Ill show the Friendly and Stoic options:

Added in You join your father choice from the first day watch sacrifice branch, and completed it. It is currently 4,500 words of content.

Here we can try and cheer Themiel up as reality finally sets in.
Let's do the most unique of the choices where Stoic MC talks more than usual:

Later on, we finally get to see the sacrifice from the other side of the ship and hear what they talked about.

We're going with the Carefree option this time

Finally, we can give our input.
This is where I'm at as of this progress report.
Here, I want to allow the player to give their input/question that has to do with their Education stat, and then see if the player passes or fails the stat check. That's the plan, but I'm still figuring out ways to go about it.

For example, bringing up the geography of the terrain (Military History choice) the Champion will simply bring it up (failure) or after bringing it up and the lack of chokepoints, they'll also notice the true is for the barbarians, meaning the campaign goal should be to wreck as much havoc as possible to the tribes as THEYRE the ones on a time limit, not the kingdom. (success)
What happens after is a spoiler, but you're on the right track with this.
After this choice tree, there's about another 1k words I've yet to write that'll be done by tomorrow.
After the above is finished, ill be jumping over to the rest of the Day 3

1) You'll fight on Cariel's behalf, or not. But I recommend you do. Here you'll also start to suspect why he was being targeted. It'll be a small conspiracy as you'll find out whoever did this wants Cariel out as your honorguard.
2) Orestes and Themiel talk about the upcoming campaign and girl problems. Samuel, certified lover boy, tries to give advice. You can agree or disagree. The scene changes wildly if youre a FeMC tho lol
3) You learn ALOT about the Hundred Isles (the islands that dot the Great Lake) and the mythos/culture. It'd be good to know, as you'll learn that the Hundred Isles are considered Crownland, and specifically under the King's authority.
I want to implement quest system with outcomes that are dependent on choices.
Quest system will be tested out first in the Squire Route, as it allows for large scale branching since we are in a war frontline.
Depending on the level of refinement the quest system performs (entertainment and implementation with stats) I will include two quests in the childhood arc, one that shows how Ronnel, Triel, and Lukas became associated with you and another that uses the original demo's version of Silverhill that'll allow us to meet Veriel and Lucina much sooner.
Lady Valerie and Ronnel with other guards take you along to the merchant district of the capital city. You can help Ronnel court her or not. Sooner or later, you guys get lost from one another, and you get found by Triel who was being punished by her brigade for lazing about. She notices people following you, so she decides to help you out without knowing who you are.
This showcases the criminal underbelly of the city and the slave trafficking or ransoming operations at play.
Ronnel manages to find you next, and stayts with you and Triel to help protect you. He looks for help by visiting the local guard-friendly tavern which is where we'll meet Lukas. We first meet Lukas as he gets into a bar fight.
From here on, I'm using Fable 2's Old Town questline as inspiration.
If unfamiliar with you, the Fable MC can decide to aid the law or gangs. Years later, you come back to see the neighborhood change depending on your actions.
Something similar will happen with this outing of ours, and Triel, Ronnel, and Lukas will come along for the ride. Since there's already a timeskip that occurs after this later on, we'll be able to see how the district changes due to our actions there.
The second questline that'll be added into our childhood is the original Silverhill journey that we take with Remiel. This one will use alot of the first and second versions of that trip and combine them. Specifically, we'll use the Town of Welkesh section (with House Malenos) add the upgrades with a few changes that was available before, and move on to Silverhill except there isn't danger during this time.
Here we'll meet Veriel and Lucina, and determine our relationship with them. We can either be friends or depart as political enemies, as House Ulrich is currently politically neutral.
This second questline will have large consequences for the Prince Route as we'll be able to see how the family fares with our support or not. If allied, Remiel goes in to save House Ulrich. If politically opposed, Remiel goes in to punish House Ulrich and take total control over the mines.
This is being considered as the current introductions of Lukas, Ronnel, and Triel is... lackluster.
I also want to use the old version of Silverhill plus the Town of Welkesh section. This'll allow us to form a relationship early with Remiel, Veriel, and Lucina.
But again, current focus is Squire Route, and I don't need to slow down progress for this as Im still getting used to working full time on KaE.
That's it for this progress report!
Also, with the new full time schedule, im also going to look back at the list of features I wanted to add to the game.
1) I aint as stressed as before, nor as hurried. It's already night and day in terms of headaches and fucked sleeping schedules. I've written like a mad man, writing massive amounts in a short time frame before. But that's more often than not, only degrading the work, causing me to revise over and over again. This is far more manageable and I'm happier with the pace.
2) Speaking about the pace, this was a week of transition. I still had a few hiccups as everyone in my life are getting used to my new time commitment (as in being respected) and I still managed to output a very respectable amount of content. By the time tomorrow's small update releases, it'll be close to 10k words in total. That's amazing! It's amazing because it doesn't feel like I finished a fucking marathon lol
3) I'm thankful for all the support you guys have given me. As time goes on, we'll get this refined to a well-oiled machine!
The update tomorrow is wide, with deep branches. To get the most out of it, save often and explore the other choices. Otherwise, please wait until I state that it's a proper Update. PCSX2 and other such emulators (im a huge emulator nerd and fan) do something called Stable and Nightly releases. The same updates that'll be uploaded piecemeal (such as finished deep branches) will be considered Nightly releases. As in, it is developed and updated "nightly". Theyll probably be missing relationship modifiers and the like code as my goal is write and progress the story, like so:

Stable releases are large properly revised updates that has the relevant code like relationship modifiers put in. Theyre not perfect, but it's what I consider a proper update.
But im not using Nightly or Stable terminology lol, ill just say Small and Big :D
That's the end of this Progress Report! I'ma get right back to work.
I stream EVERY DAY Mon-Fri on Discord. You can see KaE's development live there!
