The Prologue of the Great Rewrite is out!
Added 2025-06-17 16:49:22 +0000 UTC165k words of the actual game
27k of the Relationships tab
5k of the Codex Tab.
In total, the demo has 197k words of content.
Including lines of code, meaning stat descriptions included?
213,184 words.
All full of mostly new content.
It's uh... a really long prologue!
The Prologue will run you from birth to 14 years of age, ending to set us up nicely for the Upbringing Arc, of which you've heard me talk about and will see more information about at the end of the game.
The Relationships and Codex tabs are unlocked near the end of the prologue, so make sure you don't forget to check them out!
Again, as always, thank you so much for your patience and kindness throughout this endeavor. Every single one of you are valued and welcome, and have played a part in this project. <3
Play the demo here, and talk about it here with others!
After this goes live, I begin work on the Upbringing Arc! If you want to keep up with progress, and maybe support me and be a beta tester, join the Patreon!

Nah dude, when it's out you'll know. I'm waiting for it to be about 100k, and we're at 66k

2025-12-09 20:45:15 +0000 UTCThanks man! It depends on the ending path, of which there are three: Hegemony, Empire, and Messiah. Hegemony, they each rule their own Empire, Jelaytha is hers until she passes away and our firstborn inherits both Jelaytha and the Empire thus combining the two Messiah, spoilers

2025-06-20 16:16:10 +0000 UTCI just played the prologue and really enjoyed it! Absolutely great! I really liked Amina (one of the few ROs we've met to this point) and I was wondering what the political ramifications would be of marrying her. With both her and the MC in line to inherit, how would such a union work? Would each run their respective kingdoms, or would it be more of a merging of the two realms? It's very far down the line, but how would their children inherit? Held together by one in personal union or split between the two eldest? Also how would the Empire feel about its two biggest allies (but also potential rivals) getting together (and potentially cutting them out)?
