The first of many, part of the much-planned Cursed City series that should work as a standalone map, and will one day form part of a very large, encounter-scaled ruined, ancient city ripe for adventuring.

Every party needs to escape from prison at least once in a while, right?
This map, and its gory contents, should serve as sufficient motivation for your drunkard Barbarian to think twice before starting another bar brawl, or at least for the rest of your group to reconsider keeping them in the group.
This map could offer a choice to player's as well: Try to escape out the front, past the guards, or through the connected sewers, if they think they've got better odds against the sad...

A total mixed bag this time, full of a bunch of assets that I thought would be useful, with essentially not unifying theme. Well, it should be useful stuff, nevertheless.
Dungeondraft pack is, as always, included, but I still recommend stopping by the discord channel, where more talented dungeondrafters than I are regularly sharing extra bits and pieces!

Whispers of wind through the burgeoning wildlife slowly retaking this ancient place that must once have been a site of importance to the people who built it, memorialized in stone, now overgrown with ivy and crumbling piece by piece to rubble on the paved stones below.
The efficacy of their craftsmanship is still a marvel today. What could have befallen its architects, whose works have outlasted their people all these thousands of years later...

The last time I took a shot at making ruins assets, I put out a pack of materials that I was content with, but weren't quite right, flexible, or scalable enough for the type of projects I've been looking to complete. This pack is a step in that direction, building blocks for pieces of a forgotten civilization, inspired a bit by Greek and Roman architecture. I hope they're a firm foundation for ambitious new projects.

An otherwise idyllic seaside campsite seems to have been decidedly less fortunate for this clever camper, crushed to death as he prepared his fire for the evening. Perhaps he was a thief, out here to hide after a recent heist. Or perhaps a fisherman or pearl diver, whose vessel now resides under the waters. Was it mere ill fortune that brought about his sudden end, or did he find some valuable of insidious design? Only a dungeon master can say for certain...

A few of you on the discord have been mentioning these for awhile, so I put together a proper pack, Evergreens and bare trees, in normal and snowy versions. Good for those spooky or chilly map regions.
Also included, the pieces which I used to build the trees, in case you care to build your own custom variants, or just need a bunch of branches for something else.
Dungeondraft pack included!

With a blizzard fast approaching, this quaint and humble haberdashery is a welcome refuge from the cold, but beware: not every guest is necessarily who they say they are, and a wise traveler would do well to keep a close eye on their fellow boarders. After all, out here in this frozen hell so far from town, there's no one at all to hear you scream.
A little tribute to one of my favorite movies as I've continued to work on a proper tiling snow texture. I'm feeling good about the looks of...

Apologies for the late deliveries this month - I wound up working on most of my maps somewhat simultaneously, so they're all coming out of the oven together.
In my game, one of the most commonly used spells our wizard has been using for us is Leomund's Secure Shelter, crafting a 20x20 cottage made of the surrounding material, commonly earth, stone, or wood. I figured it was a common shelter spell...

Okay, wrapping up the month, the Terrain Features pack, something I've tried to get working for a couple months but couldn't find the right approach that was easy to implement and looked good. I'm happy with what I've got here, as a way to implement some visual interest and indications of elevation to terrain.
These pieces are designed to work with the patterns I've included in this pack, to layer on top of dirt, rock, or grass as I did in...

This one kind of got away from me. I put these together initially just to add variety to my assets and test brushes with the intent to release them as a pack, but other maps took priority, and I kind of just kept on making more items for whatever took my fancy.
In the end, I actually forgot that I hadn't released these to patrons, so here is a belated and oversized pack of assets from the last couple months that I hope will give you mapmakers some decent utility.

As fortifications go, this small watch tower is so spartan and practical it is almost quaint, its beacon rarely used in peaceful times, and manned as a mere formality. But in times of trouble, such places serve as a crucial line of defense, and a warning of trespassers, raiders, or even invading armies. Travelers might find it a convenient sanctuary to pass the night, and an even better warning sign, should the glow of its fires appear in the distance.
