Decided to scrapped and revise the previous art prompt entry. So we return from our long intermission and continue the journey of our adventurous trio. After they stumbled upon some hidden loot in a lost city, the Owl Mage and friends took what they need and left.
They follow the path of a shallow stream, and find themselves in a beautiful rainbow canyon. Faun checks the old map in hopes to find the closest settlement before nightfall.
Hoodie Ninja kinda fell for the thirst trap set up by Fox here XD.

Vlad is the name given to the Hellhound after its introduction in the 'Birthday Gift' strip. It's redesign is based on the update I made in the AU version. I thought it made him more derpy looking but still deadly.

Minor revisions here is on Tobias's design and Guy's body hair removed. Tobias bursting into flames and the cockroach remains the same. :P

Probably one of my favorite strips to work on, back in 2014. The only significant changes is mostly on Tobias's feet. Originally they were hooves but the 2020 update of his design, I discarded this element. :P
Another decision I go through, while working on the revisions is depicting Tobias in his human form and disguise. I've edited it out in this strip, because logically he's at home with the guys, and doesn't need to hide his true form in front of them.
The only art that still remain from the original strip, is the fourth panel where he burst into flames excitedly. I love that panel the most.
For this strip, we were introduced to Vlad the Hellhound. Its design also had a slight update - mostly how the jaws split opens.

One of the old strips that I wanted to revisit and revised is this particular one.
It was where I made my character Alex, as a twin brother for Tobias. Then later along the way, I hated that idea and scrapped it. But the 2020 revision of these strips allowed me to re-focus the idea and give it to Diego, who is a fan of the occult, a paranormal investigator himself and always drawn to supernatural occurrences.
Here's a good example of comparisons between the 2014 version and the 2020 update of the character designs. It's quite interesting to see how far they've come in the span of seven years.

Doggo found some ancient artifacts stashed inside the mouth of a Jaguar statue. Perhaps they could be useful in purchasing some new clothes and supplies for their long journey ahead.
Climbing out of the pond, they look around them in awe of their new surroundings. It appears their harrowing misadventures with the goblins, and through the underwater cavern has led them to an ancient temple of sorts. A massive pyramid could be seen from afar.
