Tobias & Guy - Sleepover
Added 2020-06-16 10:09:41 +0000 UTCSo I still get messages from time to time what happened to the old Tobias and Guy strips and many wish to re-read them again. Well after Tumblr, and having most of the comic strips reposted, translated, along with my name either removed or not even credited, I kinda reluctant to do so for sometime.
However I still miss these boys, and their silly misadventures, so I tried to find a way to come back to them. I did a few new strips on Patreon to test it out and then explore possibilities with their AU versions.
But I realized these strips are now seven years old and they need an update, especially the characters' designs which has evolved throughout the years and got very inconsistent somewhat. You can compare the 2014 version with the updated 2020 version above :p
What's the next step from here on? Publishing it is out of the question for the time being due to the Pandemic etc. Should I put them up on Tapas? What do you guys think?

2020-10-03 18:12:29 +0000 UTCI found you through Tobias & Guy. It took a while for me to find who created these wonderful characters and heartwarming stories (yes, I cried when I read some of them). It's truly one of the few brilliant comics out there and you accomplish so much in so few panels (and reading what you write on Patreon, we get to see how difficult this process is, as well as how satisfying the results are). It's an honor to get to support you and your work, and I truly hope you are able to take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, physically, and technologically. I would love to see you published, either by yourself or by a publisher. I don't know what the process is, but getting onto ComiXology could be a boon. I've not checked out Webtoons or Tapas, but I could, I'm just familiar with print and ComiXology right now. Regardless, whenever you're able to collect your work and wherever you publish (including here), I'll put my money where my mouth is and support you. There will always be selfish thieves who steal your work, but there will always be people like your Patreon patrons here and me who will pay for your work (I would love to see you have a wider audience than even Patreon).
