Getting back into shape is easy in theory; harder in execution. Here's a few tips:
1.) Walk for at least 15 minutes every day. More if you have the time.
2.) Your diet is key. Eat less. Find food you enjoy to cook or eat and eat less of it.
3.) Intermittent fasting is a great option if you're having trouble eating less.
4.) Get access to a gym and follow whatever routine you enjoy. As long as you stay consistent.

Hey, guys! So today is the first day in over 3 weeks that I've successfully managed to do some actual work at my desk. But first, let me give you guys a quick tl;dr of what's been happening since my accident:
1) Neurologist confirmed it's a herniated disc in the C6-C7 vertebrae in my neck. Potential surgery in a few weeks. Potential paralysis if it does not heal properly.

Hi, ya’ll. Just an update. Car into a pretty rough car accident on Thursday (hence the pause on video responses). Had to go to the ER.
Not dead or dying, lol. But suffering from a REALLY bad case of whiplash. Back/neck pain sucks ass. Hard to move. But the drugs make everything daijabou.
Omniverse content will resume this week. Most likely with double uploads so we can get caught up on responses and progress faster.

If you're a skinny dude (or lady) trying to bulk up: this video is for you.
tl;dr Lift heavy compound weights 3x a week. Progressively overload so that you're increasing the weight slowly over time. Calculate your TDEE and eat 300-500 calories above that number everyday. And make sure you're ingesting enough protein to repair the torn muscle. Use an app like MyFitnessPal in order to make sure you're counting your calories.

Gym anxiety keeps a lot of folks out the gym but is probably one of the worst self-imposed restrictions we as humans give to ourselves.
To put it simply: Nobody cares about you.
Don't give yourself too much importance. When you walk into a gym, nobody is looking at you and judging you. Even if they look at you or make eye contact, they're probably looking PAST you thinking about themselves and how they're going to finish their set.
