Dealing With Gym Anxiety & Motivation

Gym anxiety keeps a lot of folks out the gym but is probably one of the worst self-imposed restrictions we as humans give to ourselves.

To put it simply: Nobody cares about you.

Don't give yourself too much importance. When you walk into a gym, nobody is looking at you and judging you. Even if they look at you or make eye contact, they're probably looking PAST you thinking about themselves and how they're going to finish their set.

Being self-conscious about going to the gym is you believing that strangers care about your existence when in fact: they do not.

What's actually happening is that your projecting your own self-conscious thoughts about yourself onto others. Which means you need change how you view yourself immediately.

Tip: Everybody starts somewhere.
MrBeast started with 0 subscribers. People with amazing physiques started with no muscle or maybe they were really big. We all start from scratch. There's nothing abnormal about being a beginner and not understanding. Every person who is currently on a gym workout journey understands what it means to be a newbie/beginner and 9/10 respect it.

You have job.
Get your workout in. Put on your headphones. Create your workout plan. Get in there. Get the job done. Drink your water. Move the weights. Do your cardio. Then get out. That's your mission. Don't focus on nobody else because going to the gym is about taking care of you. If you're worried about others... you're not focusing on yourself enough. You're distracted. Snap out of it. 

Get back to work.
