A quick reminder about Patronage

Due to some issues these past months I wanted to give a quick reminder as to how patronage works for me as a producer.

What you have to understand is that when you Pledge you are saying "I am going to give money to this artist/content creator for when this month is over."

By pledging you gain access to whoever you're pledging to, BUT Patreon does not charge you until the month is up. You are not immediately charged from pledging. I'll repeat, you are NOT immediately charged when pledging...

Sorry for the delay with this one. I have another in the pipeline but honestly I've been struggling to rekindle that drive I found last month.

Its been too long. The last time I did she and I fused to a demonic monster, but given how much attention I've given to other characters I thing I'm very overdue to give our voracious orca some love.

That being said, did any of you have any ideas?

I'm wary of working on any large sequences, but single one off pictures are more than welcome!

Soda Line Wip

This is the beginning of something more involved I wanted to try out but honestly I'm not happy with how it's going.

From the jump you'll notice I'm using this rather ...ugh soft pen brush rather than the harder one I'd been using because in my mind I thought going at it with something smoother would up my speed, as I could always re-ink it later, but now I feel like going that rout was just a mistake and time waster.

Sunday Afternoon

I must confess, this is what slowed down this week because I decided to restart it. Furry artwork is often an outlet for me but as I've alluded to or outright said in the past, I do more than what I show to the fandom, and one of those things is my devil artwork that I keep more personal and private.

Sorry about the slow week

I've been drawing, but I've been drawing more complex things, some of which just didn't come out looking right, and I actually restarted costing me time. I may take a break from those and just focus on simpler ones to up my output.

Please forgive me in the delay on finishing this. I slowed down my pace when starting out and overtime things morphed into this, with more color experimentation by me, this time working with fields of color to create contrast rather than accents.

Now remember when I said I use two different monitors and so my sense of color is even worse? One monitor has the colors look swampy, but on the other they look like neon-electric gamer fuel. Either way, I wanted to capture the "experience" of froggif...

Inspiration Blog: Sexual Proclivities

While I do have characters 4 fully female characters I sometimes ponder my own celebration of shemales within my artwork and question if it is merely sexual indulgence or an artistic crutch. Ironically if I only drew male-men and female-women I wouldn't be considering this topic at all, but as my own worst critic I'm sometimes too close to my own artwork to see how others perceive it.

Sketching All Day (and all week)

Ow... so my sisters birthday went without a hitch, thanks greatly to myself, who at midnight Sunday, I drove to the ******** where we were having the reception and helped set up and decorate 21 tables and 160 chairs until 3AM, and then along with being active at the wedding itself, it took us another 3 hours to collect all the garbage, decorations, move a lot of heavy crates, and stack back everything up so floors could be mopped.

I have blisters on my [hooves], and I'm taking muscle relaxers ...

Update for the rest of the Month (Wedding)

I have several things I want to complete before the 30th however my sister is getting married this Sunday on the 29th so my free time is short.

Even today I'm driving with someone to hash out the final details for where they're having their wedding reception, and tomorrow I have to do do some carpet shampooing, ect. I promise to have something to show this week but its looking like it may just be more Jordan and Derrick shenanigans if not something else.

The good news is next week (May) ...

(Experimental) Sleep Eating

It was suggested that I start adding backgrounds to my drawings. The only problem is, I don't know how to draw backgrounds. I've spent the past 10 years doing anything but that, and i'm worried that it will take me another 10 years just to catch up.

Also because Chocolate and Cake were vote on so closely, went brown for Chocolate Cake.

Discussion: Is my Artwork Too Boring?

I'm concerned that my artwork doesn't inspire correspondence. No one sends me messages, or asks me questions. No one says that they want to see more of X and less of Y. No one springs ideas to me to keep going with things. It just feels like I toss stuff out there to see what sticks most of the time.

Constantly people will say, "I like your work!" but they never tell me why. And I'll try to give my characters different personalities, but I cant' tell if they've ever clicked with anyone.

Madam won the vote, and while I set out to do a simple sketch, it had been SO long since I drew her, that it sorta felt like drawing her for the first time.

(Incidentally, I use 2 monitors for drawing and they have different color timings, so please let me know if I'm burning anyone's eyes with these shades)

Last week I was feeling bummed about my numbers so I went hard, cranking out more drawings than I normally would in a week. In doing so we got see some faces I haven't drawn in a while. 

I don't intend to be as productive this week, but in keeping in step with this new color direction and drawing characters I haven't touched in a while, I wanted to put things to a vote.

Jordan is a the crazy stoner, a nihilist who when left to their own devices, will seek out pleasure without much concern for the lasting consequences. Thus shi is the perfect mad scientist.

Derick is Sisyphus, but rather than being forced to push a boulder up hill for all of eternity, he is forever a prisoner to the perverted whims of others.  Thus he is the perfect assistant.

Dr. Jordan Cartwright is one of my most inconstant characters in my roster, because feline faces are hard for me to draw. Like I poured myself into getting used to long faces, but flatter ones always come with a struggle, and it's weird because you'd think it'd be the other way around.

Either way, this day (night) sketch, once again with that staccato coloring style should serve as their 2018 version.
