Work on the full weapon set for Prism is still going strong, but damn it is a huge amount of work!
I'm done with the models, the cleanup, the UVs, the LODs, the exports (yes those are real words!) and most of the weapons now have a baseline implementation in Unity. Quick one today just to announce that I'm currently working on a full set of weapons for Prism. These will be part of DAMN which will become a requirement for using Prism. That way people can still use the weapons in their mods without having to load a full faction.
Of note: Prism will loose access to all vanilla weapons C3 and up except for the VLS' and the Mk.64. They will keep using ANS small guns, will have their own big ones in the same calibers, as well as large size Blunderbusses...

This updates slightly nerfs the durability of the Pythagoras (don't worry too much, it is still a beast) and significantly buffs the Thales in an attempt to make it easier to deploy.
Thanks to AGM and his new AGMLIB mod, we are introducing a new paint-job switching component, allowing you to customize your ships' liveries on a hull-by-hull basis, along 6 new paint themes to choose from!
The sub-faction system has thus been removed.

This update will probably makes a lot of people very happy. I've been long dissatisfied how Wanzers have slowly been cornered into an ever narrower niche. Obviously it was my own doing, but it came over time and across several game updates that dramatically changed the behavior of carriers: despite having been updated, they still inherited vestigial design choices that were necessary when fighters were the kings of the battlespace and were very easy to spam into unstoppable deathballs.

Here is a new update for Prism that re-balances significantly the acceleration/turn rate values of all ships: Overall Prism ships will be less agile at dodging shots, but faster at presenting their best profile to incoming fire than their ANS equivalents. This update provides more fixes and improvements to the bosses. I tried to solve some odd deploying behaviors, added the missing limited descriptions when encountering them, repaired the bounties not showing up at all, as well as implementing a balance pass for their minions.

First map for this pack is done, with three more in the work.
Broken Heart is an average sized map where both teams spawn fairly close to each other separated by a giant wall. It offers a rich tactical environment with both choke-points and alternate routes to reach objectives. It is also quite enjoyable against the AI.
Three more, "Broken Dream", "Broken Bones", "Broken Spirit", are in the prototyping phase.

The OD5.250 "Ocelot" is a class 4 revolver cannon, with very high accuracy and traverse to efficiently engage small and medium targets at the cost of one rather large mount.
This is the opening of my foray into Nebulous weapon-making. I have plans for half a dozen of guns although some might not be doable at my current skill level. For figuring out the workflow I made this rather simple upgrade over the Mk64 250mm cannon.

PAI is proud to present its newest, biggest addition yet: the Descartes-class heavy torchship. Sturdy and very dangerous for any heavy ship caught in its gaze, this hull can be fitted to either rush forward at flank speed to take out critical heavy targets, or to deploy overwhelming long range support fire.
