OL2: Eye Customization Preview

This is the second preview of the new MC Doll system Shawna created. This video goes into how you can customize the look of your eyes.

Of course the other features that showed before, like using any color you want, are available here. But there's now the option to add a secondary color to the center of your eyes, and you can change the color of your eyelashes!

OL2: Qiu's Bedroom Sketch (Step 2)

Surprisingly, we've got a look into Qiu's teen bedroom before their childhood one! You can see this location in Step 1, however it's not in any of the five base moments. However, you stop by Qiu's room in the prologue of Step 2 no matter what, so we need that for the upcoming S2 preview expansion.

It's quite a mess in there, but you still can see a lot of their character underneath 🌠

OL2: Tamarack Step 2 Intro CG (Sketch)

The current Step 2 Preview skips the day before school. However, in the true version of the prologue this will be the first time you see Tamarack as a teen.

Also, I shared a CG sketch from Step 1 last month, but the color version won't be done for quite a while. Since there's gonna be an update to Step 2, the artist has paused working on the final Step 1 image to do these S2 intro pieces instead.

Project W Post: August 2024

It's a Project W Thursday! I usually post on the last Wednesday of the month, but this time we needed that for yesterday's beta build.

This month I have a very exciting ramble. For ages this project has consisted of vague concepts, disconnected scene ideas, and endless possibilities, but that is starting to change. It's slowly heading towards an actual story that I can actively work on pulling off.

There are three arcs for the entire experience and they will each have 12 episodes ...

Happy Halloween! In August, haha. Today's build adds Part 1 of the Trick or Treat DLC Moment in Step 1. However, next month won't be Part 2 of this Moment. In September there's gonna be more Step 2 prologue scenes added. The full version of the Halloween event will come out in October proper.

Right now, you can only go trick or treating at the MC's house and Tamarack's house. If you go to Qiu's house the moment will end.

GB Patch Discord Emote Poll: August 2024

Hello! This poll is going up a bit late since the 10th was a day off this month, but it's ready now.

In August we're gonna vote on replacing one of the older emotes in a different artstyle with one that better matches the rest of the set. Let's do the "swoon" emote. Currently, it features January from A Foretold Affair, that's the first commercial game GB Patch Games ever released! We can keep him in the new version or use the same emotion for someone else.

OL2: Color Selection Preview

Woo, look at that! Shawna, our lead programmer, is working on a total remake of the MC Doll customization screen. It has a bunch of new features that we'll be sharing over the next few months.

This video shows how you'll eventually be able to choose any color you want for any part of the doll. You can even just type in a hex code to get the exact shade you're after.
