When I was in highschool and initially realized I didn’t identify with my assigned gender I didn’t have many people that would listen to me, so getting to have this in game is truly amazing!! Can Mc's be insecure about being intersex (whether or not they settled on what they identify as), and have been trying to work up the courage to tell Qiu and Tamarack, (obviously they'd be accepting of it.) I dunno I thought it work well with my mc who is very timid and insecure with herself, to the point of rarely speaking, deep down she knows her friends won't treat her any different from before, but is afraid of a worst case scenario. Take this with a grain of salt as I can't relate to this irl. Edit: Crap I just realized the qna was literally yesterday.

For example, the MC might be more comfortable to tell Tamarack's Omi and Opa, than they may be to her parents. After all, the MC had four full years of getting to know/trust Granny and the senior Mr. Baumann (I've no idea if the MC would be allowed to call the older Mr. Baumann 'Gramps' or 'Grandpa' at Stage 2 or not), but only had seen the younger Mr. and Mrs. Baumann once in a while over that time when they came to Golden Grove to visit Tamarack.

2024-09-06 19:20:10 +0000 UTCI'm afraid not, at least not in this same way. You can go by a different nickname instead of your first name as a subtle sign of changing your identity like Ren does. However, there won't be this kind of conversation at the start of the prologue for that. This interaction only happens if you come out with a different gender or pronouns and people need to know about it because you want to identify that way. There will be scenes to talk about your identity more broadly and you can hint then that you're unsure or in the closet, but that'd be at a different part of the story.
