austin “You and Tamarack are neighbors with Qiu, too.”

mc “What?”
austin “You, Autumn, and Tamarack.”
if silent:
“Were the pigtails talking to you now?”

“[Austin] faced forward again. You were the center of her attention now.”
austin “[Are you all friends/Are you friends with him at least]? Do you “like” like Qiu?” #if close with tam or not
“Wait, that was it, the crush talk- from the start of the class! She was bringing it up again out of nowhere.”
“The art project, the test, the lesson, so much had happened since then...”
“You blinked as your deskmate leaned in eagerly.”

austin “You said who you liked, but I haven’t told you who I have a crush on yet.”
if not:
austin “I’ll say who I have a crush on.”

“She didn’t have to do that for you to know. There was no one else it could be.”

austin “It’s Qiu! That’s who I like in the class. He’s really cute and so funny. The other boys are boring.”

“Exactly. You weren’t the only one who could tell Qiu stood above the rest.”

austin “Sorry, [first_name]. I didn’t mean you.”

“Joey’s offense was obvious. He slammed back in his chair and glowered at the side of [Austin]’s face, all while she flat out ignored it. Tamarack wasn’t his sole enemy anymore.”
austin “Austin and Autumn are spelled really similar, so we’re a match!”
joey “Well you better get in line.”
“A taunting grin split Joey’s face. He flicked his fingers towards the actual line that existed to chat with Mr. Lin.”

2024-09-12 19:45:23 +0000 UTCEither way, memories aside with this Austin girl depending on how close I am in game to her and if I like her then I will either be sad/jealous or won't mind too much always for my rule of "if you say it first and I didn't say it to no one then I'll back down" (to this rule there are some exceptions though, but not disrespectful ones to my friend, however it's not the place to talk about it and I already shared too much XD)

2024-09-12 19:44:17 +0000 UTCLove this because of the Angst XD In a way it reminds of when I was in high-school and I liked this guy, my friend also liked this guy but there is a huge difference. She said it to our friend group and I said it to no one. She (or any other person in our group) knew about my crush and I'm not a asshole, so I kept those feelings for myself, because it doesn't matter (to me) who gets the feelings first if the person with the crush admits it before I ever did and I was the only one knowing I liked someone. She didn't know. I remember after a while I eventually told her and she was really happy, but not because I backed down (as things never really developed between the two) but because she never met a friend this respectful. It made me kinda happy because to me it wasn't really that much or a big deal, like, yes I liked him but she was my friend and she admitted it when I never said it, so she didn't know I liked him too. Past forward we are still good friends, probably each other best friends.
