I did the rough in sketchbook on desktop and then all the line and colour and finishing touches in Procreate on the iPad, so there's a janky timelapse for this one for you guys!  Hope you enjoy.

Secret Santa (Fan Tier)

So this one was suuuuper fun (and naughty!)

Client wanted a secret santa gift for a friend but wasn't quite sure what direction to go in.  After reading through some of the likes and dislikes of the recipient I figured a bound position with some toys would be fun.  That lead to a little back and forth figuring out the details and here we are!  I loved the piece so much I wanted to do a SFW version for IG so that version "came" about after the initial nude one.  

Bathtime With Mercedes (Fan Tier)

As some of you are aware I've been out of action with the flu for a week; it's been pretty rotten but when I've felt alright enough I've been working on this piece.  It's inspired by a few different things, but initially by a shot from Mercedes (which I can't share here as it's on her subscription page) I've taken it off in it's own direction, and a bit outside my comfort zone with all the water and flowers.

Sorry this has been slow coming; I've been sick with the flu that's going round and it's kicked my ass :(

I wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone for all the support this year, whether here or on other platforms.  It's been a shitty year for a lot of us but you guys have stuck with me through it all and that means the world.  I've got a couple more bits to share here before '23 comes along, so I hope you'll all stick around for that.

Artstation Question

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on Artstation as a platform?  I have a sfw pro account on there that I never use and I'm thinking of transitioning it over to be an HRB account.  I thought it would mainly be a gallery and hopefully a place to gain a new audience, but also it'll enable me to sell prints and offer discounts for patrons :)

I know they had some drama earlier in the year with some international policies but as far as I'm aware that was all cleared up when Epic Game...

Harley Quinn for Movember

So while I was away for work I got asked if I'd be interested in doing a charity piece for Movember for a local comic shop here in London.  Of course I said yes but I had NO idea what to draw at first.  On the second day of the convention I was sat noodling around on the ipad and then this idea of Harley Quinn with a moustache tattoo on her finger came to me.

Mercedes Brawler (Fan Tier)

New piece for Mercedes!  She's taking part in a boxing event this weekend and I wanted to do something to celebrate that side of her.  My idea was to do a super amped up almost video game version of her, and that informed the presentation too - super slick, glossy, and over the top.  She thinks she looks a little Rhonda Rousey esque in it... that wasn't what I was going for but she thinks it's cool so there we go :D  

Save a Horse - Part 2

This was the original idea for the save a horse joke.  sort of.  it went through loads of changes and I struggled with getting the style to work for over a year, but here we are - a cowgirl on a big... yeah.  can't say it for platform reasons lol.

I'm still not sure if the third version will go public, but we'll see.  :D

Dai Jin Action Commission (Fan Tier)

The last Dai Jin commission went down so well with the client they asked for another, this time in a new outfit with a new weapon and all sorts.

I'm liking the direction my style is going lately, even though it takes a good day just to do the inking.

Jen Wilde 10k Commission (Fan Tier)

Save a Horse... (Fan Tier)

So this one started life as a joke inspired by Mercedes.  She posted a story on IG well over a year ago now of her in a cowgirl outfit doing a pole routine to the song "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy"

Now, my initial joke was way dirtier (and when it's finished it'll be on the super fan tier 😈) but because I got carried away with the SFW version it got finished first and I posted it.  

Little did I know, this specific version actually has some real significance to Merced...

She Hulked Out! (Fan Tier)

My friend Kat is competing in the PCA First Timers Body Building competition today (Sunday 25th September) and I wanted to make her something for fun to help lighten some of the build up to the big day.  She's a huge She Hulk fan, so I put this together for her :)

It's also a tribute to some of the amazing work Jen Bartel has done/is doing with the She Hulk series of covers for Marvel lately.  (Which Kat is also a fan of!)

Getting Wilde For Valentines (Fan Tier)

So waaaaaay back in February I got inspired by a videoclip shot by Arrow Photography.  It featured Jennifer Wilde sans clothing wrapped in a pretty transparent sheet, and my mind just went "ooh make it red!"

The thing is, my mind also went "The see through-ness is hot... maybe do that too!?" And so two versions of the same image were born.  I saved the see through version for Jen, but she liked it so much she shared it anyway 😅.

Quick Text Update

Hey folks!  Long time no see (or at least it feels like it!)

I just wanted to apologise for the lack of updates.  I do have work to post, and it will be done asap; I've just been uber busy with life stuff and dayjob work, not to mention a few commissions too.  This week is a bit of a nightmare for that, but hopefully either this weekend or early next I'll get the art uploaded, I'm pretty sure there'll be a super fan exclusive variant of at least one of the pieces if I can...

Hunting Demons Part 2 (Fan Tier)

Annnnnd here's part 2, things didn't go according to plan for our brave Demon Hunter and now she finds herself in a sticky situation...

I really wanted to get some of the feeling of the actual WoW artwork in here and I'm so happy with the result - held by tentacles and being lowered into the gaping maw of some unimaginable toothsome demon.

Slides include the final version, 2 different IG safe variants, the linework and a couple of versions of the sketch.

Hunting Demons Part 1 (Fan Tier)

August Update

Hey folks, hope everyone's well!

Just wanted to check in with a quick update.

I've been having a little dig into merch - Patreon's fees and the way it all works are too much for me to be able to handle at this stage with the following I have here so for now that's out of the question.  

However, I'm looking into InPrint as an option, and I've found a place that do amazing stickers so when I've got some cash to be able to order some in, I'll do a poll and figure...

Poppy Mclean Evo VIII (Fan Tier)

A little bit different for me this one - I haven't drawn cars for fun in YEARS and Poppy owns an Evo VIII so this was a blast!   

We didn't really know what to do about a background but when I suggested a Japanese hillside we went for it.  It's a combination of photo cobbling, hand painting, texture overlays and a little bit of filtering - almost like a kitbashed matte painting and it was super fun to put together.  Everything else is handpainted EXCEPT for ONE eleme...
