HI-09 - State of the Game November 2025

Hello, everyone! Wanted to give a little update, seeing as it's been a little over a month now, and honestly I feel really bad about being so quiet. So, what's up?

For starters, as of now, our "Vertical Slice" so-to-speak is basically done. The game, starting from The Infirmary, leading to the end of Docks is playable, and in a close-to-completion state. HI-09 - Lower Hotel Task WIP

This is the big one, basically HI-09's Plaza Equivalent. 10 Levers are stacked around the building and you have to get all of them, and every lever pulled shuts a nearby gate in the environment. It's less punishing than the Plaza, but it is still REALLY tense and I really like the outcome.

Music in this video is a placeholder. I have been working on this area for maybe 3 weeks now on-and-off so I hope it's up to par LMAO. I'm taking a nap, hope you guys like what you see!

Broadside V****** - Basic Gameplay WIP

Hey! So, here’s the deal:

I’ve been working on VRChive for a while but, most of what I’ve been doing have been like.. developer mockups? None of that is what I would consider to be the finished, finalized game… this meanwhile, is the actual game, which I’m coding in UE4 this time.

This is about 24 Hours worth of progress, I’ve finished the plushies, hands, shaders and a nice splash/loading screen. I’m genuinely super proud of it LMAO

HI-09 - Intro

Since we're switching from HTML5 to Steam, I wanted to have an opener, kinda like how Shipwrecked did, so I made this! I'm really proud of it LOL

I'm gonna have a "Context Segment" kind of like how Shipwrecked had before the actual game but like.. man I really like this LOL

OH, and since this is a Steam game I'll be able to give out Steam Keys for Patreon Backers soon! So, that's exciting!!

Shipwrecked 2015 - Style Test

Yes, I know the game opening with a 2015-era "made in unity" watermark might've caught you guys off guard but I am still using Unreal LMAO

HI-09 - Enemy Diary #3 (THEY ARE FINALLY DONE)

Long time coming, huh?

So, the enemies finally have a BASELINE. In Shipwrecked, I simply created a baseline enemy and based all other enemies off of the outline one. In previous cases, it was Olive, but this time, for the sake of easier productions of animations and sounds, it was Giovanni.

Jesus Fucking Christ.

Out of everything I've made for this game so far, this is probably up there with the scariest next to Blot himself.

HI-09 - Beta Content

Hey! Been a little bit!

So, I've been looking through a lot of much older assets that were made for HI-09. I've been working on this game for.. almost a year now, honestly! At the time, Shipwrecked had freshly released, and in February, HI-09 (at the time going under "Content Batch 1") was in Pre-Production!

This is the first version of HI09 I still have saved, which weirdly enough, I had because of an attempt at porting it to mobile? I had a backup version of the project and it had basically as barebones a map as i could ask for.
