Update April 2020

This month has been...rough.

I try not to get too personal with my updates, but I may as well give you some perspective of what's been going on and why I've been absent.

Hey, everyone. Typical Friday update.

It's Friday, Mates

Not too much going on, but it is Friday and that's update day.

I did stream today and did some light doodling with my ooooold cintiq 12wx for nostalgia's sake. It's good for line art and drawing. Not so good for coloring. The screen is dark as hell.

Friday Update

Not much to update. I've fallen behind on my own goals for the week because my roommates brought home a nasty cold that slowed me down. I am sorry for falling behind however.

This Peach x Bowsette pic is the closest to being finished. In the .zip file you can see the 2nd pass sketch and the inked version of it. This was the drawing I wanted to get done the most out of all the rough sketches from earlier this week. This pic should be colored and done by Sunday.

Rough Sketches

So one of the things I'm doing is making an "assembly line" of sorts out of my schedule to develop a better/consistent working habit. That schedule looks something like this:

Monday - Rough Sketches
Tuesday - Clean Up
Wednesday - Inking/Flat Color
Thursday - Shading
Friday - ??? (extra day to pick up the slack if needed)
Saturday & Sunday - Free days

Did a test stream yesterday and this was the result. Going to do some more test streams this week and next week have a set schedule in which I stream.

Happy New Year

I missed out on a meaningful New Year's post, but that's what happens sometimes.

This month I want to bolster my roster of characters a little bit and do some concept work on them.

Sketch and WIP Collection

I should mention that not everything in this collection is coherent or remotely closed to finished. Nonetheless, I found them to be enjoyable enough to put in. Some are HD and some aren't, because that's how I drew them at the time. I didn't resize anything that I didn't think needed to be.
