My last update before Christmas (so, only one this week) - Happy Holidays everyone, hope you enjoy the season however you celebrate it (or don't).
I wish everyone could see my life…
Erin wanted to throw herself back into the relative security of her cubicle to regroup and clear her head from the horrors of the hallway, but when she got there she discovered Chloe lounging back in her chair, tapping away at her phone as usual....

I've got one last update for you this week, and the last big update of the year! Here's the animated trailer for Toyeater, featuring a few fun moments from the game. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
I'll be signing off for the holiday after today, until the New Year; I've got one more Erin's Living Nightmare update for you on Monday but I'll take the rest of December off after that, so the next chapter will be back in January. I'll try and get the ARC eBook done for...

One day ahead of the public release, I'm happy to share the final version of Toyeater with you to download here!
You can get it at this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_ZZvfNIbOgkNpxqwOg1X_Sonscw_bDX_
With big thanks to everyone who's given feedback from the beta, I've ironed out a lot of little niggling problems. There was an error right near the start wh...

The Toyeater demo is now available! And it’s turned into a pretty substantial beast, mostly on account of the game being quite difficult to trim down to something short.
Free to download, the demo alone features about 125 HD images and about 6,000 words of text, representing roughly a quarter of the total game. It includes the full, rather long introduction and the opportunity to explore a good portion of the room, with only a few locations out of bounds. However, you can only partial...

I wish everyone could see what…
Erin was still at last, holding herself steady in place, eyes closed. She was standing, the floor solid beneath her feet. There was something hard in her hands, holding her in place.
She opened her eyes, forcing herself to relax, and found the woman standing before her was herself, reflected in the mirror of the sterile ladies’ washroom. She was leaning on the sink, and frowned, looking down to her shoes on the tiles, then ...

Just in time for the weekend, I’ve finally managed to get the beta for Toyeater ready! About 24,000 words, almost 400 images and a dynamic interactive game engine!
It includes plenty of opportunities to get eaten or squashed, and you can play as a nutcracker soldier or a ballerina princess.
The plan is to beta test it this week, in time for the full release on Thursday, 19th December. It’ll be available for Tier 3 subscribers on 2024-12-13 17:47:48 +0000 UTC

I wish that everyone could…
Two floors down from the main bull pen where Erin worked, the Pagen Paper Ltd building had a large canteen area, with shiny steel buffet alleys and wood veneer tables separated by cheap fake plants. It was popular with most of the office, which is why Erin almost never visited, preferring to bring her own sandwiches to eat in the break room. To come down here was to invite staring at best, but more likely to stir conversation or mocker...

Ho ho ho! It being holiday season, and me not having written a seasonal story this year, I decided to sling out an extra size-warping game. But me being me, it’s escalated to a not-so-little game. The result is Toyeater, my next interactive adventure – another survival horror story using the Renpy engine, but this time with a more dynamic structure.
What is Toyeater?
Toyeater is a visual novel-style survival game where your choices will ensure...

Erin stood up hurriedly, straightening out her skirt and stretching her neck to look skyward to her manager’s face. The cushion of her chair beneath her feet was soft and almost made her stumble, not helped by how dizzyingly far away everything was – the seat itself was as wide as a large room, the armrests a storey high either side of her. Yvette was a terrifying tower of a woman, the threat of her anger magnified a hundredfol...

With apologies I didn't manage an art update last week, mostly because I've been working on coding rather than visuals. But also because I got pretty ill with Covid. That's fortunately over now so I have a little sneak preview of what I'm working on for December...
This is a pretty big project that came at a bit of a whim, currently titled Toyeater. Trying to make up for not getting around to a seasonal Christmas story this year with something much more elaborate. (A g...

Erin could feel her cheeks warming with nerves as she waited in the lobby alongside Xavier for the lift to arrive. It was a rare treat to get to ride up to her floor with him – and only him – but she couldn’t bring herself to look at him, much less say anything. The lift pinged and the steel doors slid open, and Xavier kindly stepped aside to let Erin enter first. She offered the briefest smile as she passed and retreated into...

I wish that…
The bridge was exactly as Erin remembered: a cracked, stony arch forming a tunnel over a mossy ditch that was either a dried-up river or a long-forgotten railway. The road over it was quiet, the area overgrown with gnarled trees, so the tunnel felt a long way from anything and anyone, and it came with its own unique smell of rot and damp. Erin cringed as her shoe sank into something slimy, pushing her way through the narrow hedge path into a clearing...

As promised, I've finished a couple of animations taken from the Dorm Till Dawn artwork. I've made the first available public now, but the second is a Patreon exclusive for this week (probably to go public next week).
(Note this is NOT IN-GAME FOOTAGE; I've animated still images from the game!)
(Also, be sure to watch till the end to get it all...)
Enjoy! (And there's a second animated trailer available on Patreon already; I'll make it public next week.)

Janet Cody was nine feet tall and the sight made Erin Dobson want to cry.
The giantess was laughing as she stooped in the office, the centre of attention as always, though now because no one could physically avoid looking at her. Her horribly perf...

I may have accidentally sent out the last chapter of my next serial to some subscribers, so if any of you saw that just... ignore it for now... (seriously it'd ruin everything!)
Too much going on, head in a fog!

The Next Morning – Kirsty
With light creeping in through the hole in the building, the noises of people coming and going had finally died down. The emergency services who’d cordoned off the Wylde Estate had tramped in and out of the devastated kitchen, through the house, all around the garden, and made their assessments. People had been questioned and let go, or otherwise taken to hospital, or wherever. Most importantly, Mackenzie and T...

Well, I've just managed to finish my latest animation, Condemned Farm, in time for all you wonderful susbcribers on this, the most horrible of holidays.
This is an appropriately darker, horror short - it moves quite fast, but it's the longest piece I've done in Blender so far. Feels like a good starting point to me...

For a final little artshare this week, I've put together the cover for Hunting Rogues, and here's one last preview of Shelby. I'll be taking a break until January (after the final Midwinter Shrinker chapter tomorrow), but should have the complete Shelby comic for you shortly into the New Year.

***Something a little different today, because giant women aren't the only danger in the Nidings...***
The group moved fast through the trees – too fast for Fraki to stop and consider how terrifying all this was. At all times, in the canopy of the Haval trees they were at least a hundred feet above the ground, and given the way the ground kept rising jaggedly they were only moving higher above the valley. They ran together along branches between the thickness of a country pat...

A couple of things I've been working on - firstly the Midwinter Shrinker book cover, suitably dramatic I hope - and then another preview from the Shelby comic, which is coming along nicely. This one's got Shelby in her second stage outfit (whereby we have some boobage).

***Attack!***
Fraki was shoved back into the cave wall as Dunn and Wanesic ran out, the blond twin moving faster than anyone else. Rote’s huge head retreated in surprise, and the other three warriors quickly rushed past shouting war cries. Wanesic swept up his sword, thin but long, with a leap towards the thundress’s face, and she shifted to one side, just avoiding a blow that could’ve cut through her eye. Just behind him, Dunn swung his enormous blade up in an arc, all t...

It’s almost the end of the year, so time for my updates. This one comes with treats, as you’ll already see. I’ve been experimenting more with my 3D modelling and here are some early results. Hopefully you’ll recognise what they’re from.
Enclownter at the Big Top has been well-received so far, which encouraged me to dive into something more elaborate. The obvious choice was to adapt Under the Table, seeing as that’s a complete interactive sto...

***The journey begins...***
Like everyone who grew up in Lewvon, Fraki knew the way into the Nidings only because it was drilled into them that it was a route they must never take. Through the town and around the bend in the river, past the rocky lowland and into Haval Forest, where the ground got increasingly steeper, and the trees increasingly larger and more twisted. Once you were inside the forest, facing the first peaks of the immense mountain range, directions no longer m...

***The challenge is set...***
Two days passed since Sudien had been devoured, and the people of Lewvon had done nothing. Fraki had fumed, shouted at her parents, demanded they act – until her mother, Eraly Lewthan, had snapped and told her no more. A tall, slim and imposing woman whose wavy dark hair was dusted with silver, Eraly spat the words: “You did not see anything because you were not with that boy, do you understand? You will not do anything and neither we ...

I might've mentioned while writing Under the Table that at some point I wanted to look into making my interactive stories into visual games.
Turns out that point was last week.
I had a moment's inspiration with an idea for something I thought could test my system's capabilities, given that I'm running on fairly limited resources with my laptop. In the space of about a week, I built something much more extravagant than I originally intended.
The results:
