The Toyeater demo is now available! And it’s turned into a pretty substantial beast, mostly on account of the game being quite difficult to trim down to something short.
Free to download, the demo alone features about 125 HD images and about 6,000 words of text, representing roughly a quarter of the total game. It includes the full, rather long introduction and the opportunity to explore a good portion of the room, with only a few locations out of bounds. However, you can only partially complete two of the puzzles in the demo, so it barely gets you into solving the story.
You can grab the demo here, or if you have any problems with that link get it off my itch.io page here, available for both PC and Mac – just unzip it and run the .exe to play.
The full game now features over 400 images and 24,000 words of text, and will be out on Thursday! (With luck I’ll get the final version up here for Tier 3 members tomorrow, though, slightly ahead of the public release.)
