All the Latest Ashton Updates...

With Dorm Till Dawn complete and out in the world, Condemned Farm done, and The Biggest Party in Town ending this week, it seems like a good time for a general update. I hope you’ve enjoyed all that I’ve had going on – the feedback from the game in particular has been great, and it’s moved quite a few copies, though I’ve still got a chunk of marketing to do if I’m going to get the sort of sales that’ll keep my frantic pace viable.

The Next Animation

On that note, the next big animation I’m planning on will be an extended trailer for Dorm Till Dawn. Hopefully you’ve all seen the little trailers I’ve done for Shelby and Adradan so far, animating stills from the comics, but I want to go further for the game and do some more elaborate scenes, something a bit more like an actual movie trailer. As I’ve got so much material for the game’s images, I’m thinking this won’t be too hard to put together, but we’ll see.

The Next Game

Meanwhile, I’m dipping back into the Under the Table game at last. Though Dorm Till Dawn hasn’t sold enough yet to really let me dive into it with reckless abandon, it’s done well enough to encourage me to press on with a bigger project in the time I find between my other work. I can’t make any promises on a timeline until I get more stuck in, but I have all the models in place and have already started on converting a good portion of the code, so it’s in motion.

In case anyone’s wondering about a follow-up to Dorm Till Dawn, I am starting to muse over the idea. There’s at least another book to come from Sensus Supra at some point, and I feel like I can do something more elaborate from St Fiacre’s down the line.

The Next Story

Happy to say I’ve already got quite an ambitious and slightly different story on the way for our next serial, which will start next Monday and run weekly from there. It’s called Erin’s Living Nightmare, and is an office-based horror with a few new twists – there’s lots of mini-giantess action (and, as a result, some nearly same-size vore), plenty of shrinking and likely a suitably destructive climax, with other surprises along the way. It’s got an almost dreamlike feel (for reasons), and I feel I’ve pulled off something rather different that might appeal to a wider audience of general horror readers. For now, though, it’s going to be exclusively serialised for subscribers.

As Erin is rather dark and nasty (it is a nightmare, after all), I’ve got a mind to work on some lighter material in the meantime. This is just in the planning stage now, but I’m inching towards a classic B-movie monster story with giant women squaring off against giant monsters (and plenty of collateral damage for the little people in the way). Something fun, action-packed and perhaps even a little more sexy. The working title, which should give you a pretty immediate idea of what to expect, is Bikini Kaiju. I may start with a mock-up cover… And it may be a project that owes itself to a more multi-media approach down the line, if it proves popular.
