Things should be returning to usual very soon. I was able to kick out a chapter during my down time. This afternoon I'm going to be busy as heck later. Let me know if I missed anything. I'm getting better at exterminating adverbs from the story with the exception of dialogue. Conversations feel a lot smoother and the transitions feel better. I think it still needs some work though. Tell me what you think.

This took forever to edit. It started off as a total mess with some really broken choppy dialogue and it took forever to clean up the conversation between Sparkler and Dinky. I ended up rewriting the Dinky and Sparkler conversation about four times and the last time I focused on dialogue enablers to try and make the conversation a bit more show and a little less tell. I hope it came out okay. So... ever find yourself attracted to a typo? There's an awkward moment of sexuality...

Sorry for the delay, today was cold and damp... and I had a great deal of trouble functioning. There is currently no heat in my apartment due to the heater exploding once more right after it had just been fixed. But I got this one out today, and I think I am happy with it. The editing continues. Please report all typos.

No adverbs and no passive voice! Fifty three well constructed paragraphs and one hundred and sixty five sentences. it only took me forever. Been writing and editing since about five am. The new style requires so much more work. But hopefully it has fewer typos.

The stats: Seventy five paragraphs. One hundred and eighty eight sentences. Five adverbs, all of them spoken. Nine uses of passive voice. Many many typos corrected. I think this is getting easier.

Oh Goddess the editing. Fifty seven paragraphs. Two hundred and two sentences. Four adverbs. Twelve uses of passive voice. Many many many hours spent picking it apart and putting it back together to make coherent sentences without using adverbs. Correction of tenses. And there still might be typo. This chapter was written at a twelfth grade reading level. It has fifty eight paragraphs. It contains one hundred and seventy one sentences. Twenty eight of those sentences are somewhat above average difficulty. Eighteen of those sentences are of exceptional difficulty for the reading level. There are eight adverbs. And there are a grand total of twelve instances of passive voice. Sadly, there may still be typos, even though I have spent HOURS editing this. I have decided to clean up my writing ...
