Lucian Redraw

I like redrawing things to see how my sense of style differs over time. This was something I had a bit of an itch to do because Lucian's flip-flopped a bit in his design and what better way to see the progression than by adding to the growing train of redraws of his first sketch! I'm a lot happier with how he looks now. I don't know if this makes sense, but he feels more like what he was meant to be haha

On reflection, it's likely due to the fact I've become explicitly upfront with him ...

Sorry y’all! I thought I’d be able to finish around the same time as usual, but I’ve been out of the state for Thanksgiving and haven’t had as much time to work. I’ve been wanting to stay present with my friend and her family while I’ve hung out with them, so no iPad time for me during the day. Lucent Episode 02

Episode 2 is done and I'm a masochist for making that many crowd scenes in one episode! What's crazier is that I actually got this done in less than a week. I genuinely think I'm brain-rotted to work 8+ hours a day unless someone physically restrains me.

A very fun experiment with a genre I don't really do! I definitely have a lot of respect for anyone who can do mechanical illustrations because I had six references pulled  up and still didn't know what I was doing.
