Why did I make Vigil's dick so big and girthy? Can you tell I didn't know how to stylize his knot? Is it too obvious the size isn't consistent between panels? Will anyone question how that fits in Lucian's mouth? Does he realize that this is one of the smallest sizes he's going to be taking and it only gets crazier from here?

These were the questions going through my mind as I worked on this, but all things considered, I'm fairly happy with how it came out.

I do think that I'll have to study a lot more erotica to get a better handle on pacing/flow. Sometimes I'd forget to focus on certain aspects and I feel that there was far too much focus on the same angle. I'll be sure to push that more on my next attempt. I think that also learning to give things more weight would help a lot. I feel that when characters are interacting, there's not enough of a sense of things actually interacting, if that makes sense. A lot artists I really admire tend to have this insane understanding of not just anatomy, but of an object's texture, mass, etc. and how it interacts with other objects. For example, I really disliked the way Lucian looks the first time he's kissing Vigil's dick. I think his lips don't naturally flatten/squish so it just looks a bit awkward www

But that's enough critiquing my work haha. I'm learning as I go and I hope in the future I can get that sense of intimacy down! Especially as the series goes on and characters really begin to become more and more open with one another.

I actually chose this moment between Vigil and Lucian because I could still be lighthearted with it, but, truthfully, I don't feel prepared enough for the heavier moments I'm planning. I want to give those scenes the proper respect and gravity they deserve and when I have so much self-doubt as is, I don't think I can do them proper justice.

I know I joke about being a porn artist and all that, but I really do love how intimate scenes can convey so much about characters, their mindsets, and their relationship with each other. It's such a vulnerable state to be in if you allow it and I want it to feel like that. Well, that's the goal anyways haha. The other goal is for it to be fun and enjoyable to read for y'all, so I hope I'm able to achieve that too!
